Hostelworld says:
Sant Jordi Arago is centrally located just off Passeig de Gràcia, near Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, Barri Gòtic, La Rambla and more. Hostelworld guests tell us the 'easygoing and proactive' staff have great advice on restaurants, bars and sights around the city and organise very popular nights out. One traveller said 'the atmosphere is one of family, where everyone looks after each other and becomes closer than acquaintances. During my time at this hostel we had family dinners [and] drinks and this has resulted in me having friends from all over the world'.
Property Information:
Awarded by Hostelworld customers 2nd Best Hostel in Spain February 2012, #1 Best Hostel In Spain for October, November and December of 2011, 9th Best Hostel Worldwide December 2011, 8th Best Hostel Worldwide October 2011, and #1 Best Hostel in Spain 2010, Sant Jordi Arago provides a perfect balance between relaxation, a party-friendly atmosphere and a central location. This makes us the ideal hostel for any traveler.
We have mixed dorm rooms for four, six, eight and 10 people.
There's also great communal spaces, including a comfortable living room, dining area, a small but fully equipped kitchen and two balconies, each with an amazing view of the impressive building that houses the Fundacio Antoni Tapies, itself a popular tourist attraction.
We're located in the centre of Barcelona, just minutes' walk from two of Antoni Gaudi's most recognized masterpieces - Casa Batllo and La Pedrera. Our hostel's only a short walk to the central city square, Plaza Catalunya, and we have one of the primary metro and RENFE train stations, with direct airport service, on our doorstep. Situated between two attractive main-streets, Passeig de Gracia and Rambla de Catlunya, directly across from the impressive Fundacio Antoni Tapies, you won't find a better located hostel in Barcelona. Step outside and you'll find countless bars, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions to suit your every desire.
Several nights a week we organize special outings to various popular Barcelona bars and clubs (normally with free entrance). We're famous for our parties and this is the best way to experience the renowned nightlife of Barcelona and get to know some of the other guests in the hostel. We're professionals and this is our job, so come along and enjoy the fun!
If you're not up for the party and you decide to just stay in for the night, no worries; our relaxed and friendly atmosphere makes it easy to meet new people and get a good night's sleep.
We also organize various daytime activities and have a special chalk board where the staff post their daily recommendations.
All of our friendly staff speak English and Spanish and are filled with local knowledge. They can provide you with maps and all the information you'll need or want - sightseeing, transportation, restaurants, nightlife and more. We also have a special insider's guide to Barcelona that was written by the staff and guests and will provide you with honest advice about what is cool and worth seeing in Barcelona. As we're travellers like you, we know what you want out of a hostel and will do all we can to make you comfortable and assure that your stay in Barcelona is unforgettable.

We're in the centre of Barcelona, very close to La Casa Battló and La Pedrera. Personally, I recommend heading to La Champagneria bar; it's an amazing place for tapas and cava.
We also cater to people with special needs and/or disabilities!- Silvia, Group Manager

Staying at Sant Jordi hostels is always a great experience, and this hostel is no exception. The staff is excellent and helpful, letting you know where to find nearby amenities. They also give you a Barcelona city map laying out transit lines and the best city sites. The hostel itself is about a 10 min walk to Placa Catalunya, which is where you catch the Aerobus to either T1 or T2 terminals to El Prat. From the airport, the Aerobuses also drop you off at Placa Catalunya.
