a lot of fun. the only way I wouldn't recommend this hostel is if you're looking for a quiet stay in Barcelona. it's definitely designed for those looking to enjoy Barca's nightlife and meeting a lot of people.

Staying at Sant Jordi hostels is always a great experience, and this hostel is no exception. The staff is excellent and helpful, letting you know where to find nearby amenities. They also give you a Barcelona city map laying out transit lines and the best city sites. The hostel itself is about a 10 min walk to Placa Catalunya, which is where you catch the Aerobus to either T1 or T2 terminals to El Prat. From the airport, the Aerobuses also drop you off at Placa Catalunya.

The staff was great, they talked to everyone like friends not like clients. All the events they do every night are free entry because of how large the group is. You'll meet people from the other sant jordi hostels, not just your own. The lockers are large enough for a big backpackers backpack and though I would have liked more bathrooms, I never had to wait to use it. Great stay and really easy to meet people!

i stayed for 5 nights and had an amazing time, in and out of the hostel. the staff (Mikel,Gustoov and Lorenzo) were great with exceptional knowledge of the area and always willing to help. on certain days Lorenzo cooks up a delicious pasta dish, which tasted better than the restaurant food i had, best thing was that it's free which saved me a euros :) In addition if you are lucky like me you might see the Bacelona FC parade from the balcony.

Hostel has a great location. It is centrally located by major sites. It is also a 1 min walk from one of gaudi's works (casa batllo). Staff is very nice and friendly. They are helpful when it comes to finding certain touristy spots. Showers are hot. There is a kitchen available if needed. Will definitely stay here again when I return.

If you are staying in Barcelona then you must stay here! Was the absolute best hostel I've stayed at overall. The staff is amazing and so willing to help you with anything. They make you feel so welcome and comfortable there. The best part is the social events they host for all the guests. Had we not stayed here, my experience in Barcelona would not have been the same!

There are a lot of positives to this hostel and overall we had a great time there! The location for the price can't be beat, it's easy to get almost anywhere in Barcelona from here either through the metro or on bikes. The staff really know their way around the city and are very helpful too. As other reviews say, it's definitely set up for partying and has a younger vibe so I wouldn't recommend it for couples or people who are 24/25+, but overall I really enjoyed the staff and my time there!

We had an amazing time here. it is just north of downtown but close to proper grocery store and attractions-- so its a perfect spot. It is a small enough hostel so that you get to know everyone very quickly, and with the staff (Mikel) being friendly and welcoming, it made it easy to get to know our bunk-mates. i.e. mojito night with a game of kings, not to mention staff making the drinks. No hidden fees and and small awesome kitchen that made it so we could finally cook a good home cooked meal.

It was simply perfect! I really need to thank the guys at the reception, they give a lot of great suggestions about Barcelona, and I'm really grateful to Lorenzo the night receptionist: I couldn't sleep because of a group of very noisy people, but he immediatly succeeded in calm them down. thanks god!!!

Great location and staff. Met some pretty cool people but it is a 100% party hostel (I mean, it is Barcelona) so keep that in mind.

We had a really great time at Sant Jordi Arago Hostel, it is ideally located, and the atmosphere is awesome! Big thanks to the staff, who are really nice and friendly! Also, the night outs organized by the hostel are a very good way to make friends, to discover the bars and discos of Barcelona, and of course to have fun! We highly recommend Sant Jordi !
