AWESOME stay! First time to Barcelona and Sant Jordi made it excellent! Nice area, great food and bars close. Easy access to metro and in very central part of the city. The staff MAKE this place. Ollie and Ronnie definitely made sure the entire group was always having a good time every night. The people who were staying there while I was were all very fun and social. Great place to stay and make friends. Thanks Sant Jordi!

The hostel was very clean and easy to get to from public transportation. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions. There was a welcoming atmosphere at the hostel that encouraged guests to interact with one another.

This is a great hostel but a little far away from city center. Read my comprehensive review and make a decision if this fits your needs. Firstly location- it is 5 km from beach and or gotic center. For all day activities you can take metro station which is 8 mins away. But if you want to go to night clubs and return late nights - your options are to take a taxi arounf 12-15 euros or wait till 5 am for metro to start.

Helpful staff, nice terrace and rooftop, comfortable beds. Small kitchen and not much in the way of communal cooking. Not a fan of big tvs in common spaces but others seemed to enjoy it. Overall very nice accommodations.

Had an epic stay here! Lots of space in the rooms, and good lockers for security. Great for meeting people as the hostel is small and intimate. Linda and Ollie were really helpful and great fun. Sant Jordi offers a pub crawl every night- great way to meet people as a solo traveller. Definitely recommend !

I had a great experience at sungate hotel. It has a great location and is just a shot walk to Malasanas. Staff was wonderful and very accomodating. It's hard to find any negatives because this has been one of the greatest hostel experiences I had.

It's a fairly new hostel, with spacious lockers and good wi-fi. Commonal areas were clean, but they need to keep an eye on the bathrooms. They get messy and staff don't seem to bother cleaning properly. The location was fine, Gracia is a more chilled neighbourhood and it's about 10-min walk from a metro station. The staff was helpfull with info but not really engaging with the travellers. I liked the free sangria, though and they invite for a night out. Very good facilities! I would recommend it!

The staff here is awesome! You'll have plenty of fun here. Place is clean. You are provided with your own locker. And every bed has its own outlet. Pretty much everything you want in a hostel

A+ Had a great stay at Sant Jordi Gracia, the staff are awesome, they are very helpful friendly and create a great atmosphere within the hostel. Within the first half hour after I arrived, Ronnie poured some shots, and that was the first of many good nights out in Barcelona with Ronnie Ollie and Linda. They're a great bunch. Mathieu was also always very helpful to suggest places to visit. There's a word limit on this? I wasn't done yet... I'd definitely stay here again!

We had a very nice stay at Sant Jordi! It was in a great area with easy access to the Metro. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was that guests are NOT in control of the lights to their rooms. Staff turns the lights off at 11 (ish) pm but if you want to go to sleep earlier than that (like if you are catching a train the next morning at 6am) you can't turn off the lights in your room at all. The lights are fully controlled by staff which was quite annoying.

This Hostel is superb-- quiet and cozy during the day, lively at night, and plenty of great things to do whomever you are. ON a second note-- I have stayed in over 35 hostels around the world, and without a doubt, Linda is the best staff member I have ever met. She will sort out your questions, tell you where to go, and make sure you find your way home after a big night!!! PLACE IS MEGA, LINDA is MEGA!!!

great hostel in Gracia, very clean, friendly staff, quite a few weird people though. I had some serious bed bug bites from the Kabul Hostel at Plaza Reial (don't ever go there!) and they helped me finding a farmacy and cleaned all my stuff for free. Couldn't really explore the nightlife with the people from the hostel because of the bites, but the have a great selection of movies in the common area. Highly recommend it!

The staff really made this place! Pedro in particular went the extra mile to show me around the local art scene and galleries, he was very welcoming! Thanks so much!!

So I never write reviews but I had such an amazing time in Barcelona staying at Saint Jordi Hostel Gracia that I had to write one. The staff at the hostel Linda, Ronnie, Ollie, Paolo, Joao made everything really easy and fun. They had great recommendations for where to go and what to see and were very helpful and organized on check in. If you want to party this is definitely a place to stay they take you out every night to different clubs but are also concious of people who want to stay in.

Loved it! Staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Homemade sangria for guests some nights:) Great security system. A little far from town but metro stations are close by and easy to use (get the T10 - best bang for your buck!). Met some really cool people!

Fantastic stay! Very clean, love the use of key cards for locker access, felt really secure. Location was so good, nice area of town, shops and restaurants close by. Events every night if you're keen. Staff were super friendly and really helpful with recommendations if what to see, do, and eat!
