We're perfectly located in the heart of the city, a few minutes walking from the famous Las Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya , Barceloneta beach and Montjuic mountain - where you can relax and enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the city. All of the most interesting places in Barcelona - museums, parks, shops, theatres, pubs and much more - are just around the corner!
We have the best-quality services, with two-to-eight-bed mixed dorm rooms, lockers, shared facilities (including lounge, home cinema and kitchen), organized activities, free internet and Wi-Fi and much more. Linens, large lockers and internet are included in the price and our lounge is so comfortable that you'll want to spend the whole day inside and might even forget about going out. We also provide you with nice music, good vibrations, and lots of movies and books.
We're backpackers like you. If you are someone who wants to make new friends, have a beer, enjoy the hostel atmosphere, and discover Barcelona, then come and enjoy! Our success is based on the respect of others. Here you can feel at home, meet other people and have long conversations, fun activities, good music, a nice, quiet night's sleep and staff who treat you like a part of the family.
We offer various activities and parties throughout the week but we're not a party hostel; that means we're very strict about noise at night. We're happy if you enjoy Barcelona's night life but we're also very concerned about allowing people to rest.
Located in Poble sec, a district with a lot of very old architecture, the hostel's building was constructed in 1893; that make's our home a very special place. It's a multicultural and colourful district with many local restaurants providing traditional 'tapas', pubs with cold beer, discos with good music, amazing dance parties, and much more.
Mambo Tango is all about providing good travelling experiences and was founded on the ideals of respect and high standards. This has been our continuing strength, and we wish to keep it that way. We do not tolerate, under any circumstances, disrespectful and disruptive behaviour; in particular poor behaviour resulting from irresponsible drinking. In short, we don't like disrespectful people! If this isn't okay with you, there are plenty of other places in Barcelona that can fulfil your needs.

I think what makes us special are the extras we offer our guests. We're a family hostel and our knowledgeable and friendly staff always have good recommendations for restaurants, bars and day-trips out of Barcelona.

We're located very close to La Rambla and the Monjuic area - both are cool places, well worth checking out. I also usually tell our guests to go to Quimet and Quimet -- it's an awesome place for tapas and for meeting people.

Excellent! It was great to be there! Cacau a beautiful person! It was lovely to know her! :D and Hernán too... The only comment is that the guy that was at night when I left told me badly about the taxis and I had to spend to much to go to the aiport... he should get informed! Excelente! Fue muy bueno pasar allí... Cacau es una hermosa persona y fue hermoso conocerla y a Hernán también! :D. El único comentario es que el chico que estaba en la noche luego de que me fui me informó mal del taxi.

Cancellation Policy
This property has a 2 day cancellation policy.Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
Things to Note
We do not accept groups of more than six people.
Check-in: from 1pm. Check-out: 11.30am. You're welcome to leave your luggage with us and hang out in the common areas on your day of departure. If you are changing your arrival time, please e-mail or call us directly. It is important that we're kept aware of any changes to your reservation. Note that the booking system uses the 24-hour clock. Reception is open 24/7.
We have a 24hr cancellation policy. Late cancellations and no-shows shall incur a charge equivalent to the first night's accommodation to the credit card used for booking. No exceptions.
