Never seen sucha a terrible hostel! 30$ for a bed in a dorm, never cleaned since they bought the property. Never! Good facilities, such as free internet access, fridge in rooms, many people, common area to drink sth together, but nobody care of your bed, nor of your room. Anyone can get in and take your stuff. Too much noisy. A club on one side and high music in the common area all night long. Nice to meet people. That's all.

I know Miami beach is about partying all the time but they play music very loud all the time!! From 9AM to 2PM and because miami's clubs are a bit expensive a lot of people stay at the hostel to drink and end up talking very loudly until 4am, 6am. Even with earplugs it was tiring! Also if you are planning on cooking to save money forget it : the worst hostel kitchen (if you can call it that) ever : There is no product to wash, the sponge has been here for over a century and everything is dirty.

Nice staff but dirty facilities. The owner does not care about the place. The atmosphere is nice, at least during spring break whn I was present.

When we arrived at the hostel we thought "well okay it's close to the beach and to ocean drive." But the 8 bed dorm was way too small for so many beds and it was dirty all over. The bath was disgusting and when we told the staff that there was no roomservice for long time, we had to clean the bathroom all by ourselves. We stayed there for two weeks, and the bathroom was cleaned just two times. Also in the kitchen there weren't even forks. And the staff was unfriendly and bugged most of the time.

The bathroom was dirty although staffs clean up rooms everyday. The breakfast was not as good as I had thought two toasts and a cup of coffee or tea. That\'s it (better than nothing though..). The staffs were nice. They answer anything you ask.

Hostel was much cozier than hotels that are like prison. I made tons of friends and planning a trip around the world. Very social atmosphere. Major issue is cleanliness the owner has NO interest in keeping the place clean cause it is highly in demand.

The hostel has a lovely environment and ambience with the outside courtyard open 24/7, so people can sit out there and eat, drink or just relax. The only problem I had was that the rooms were tiny! I have stayed in many hostels and this is the smallest room I've ever stayed in. The space between the bunk beds was enough space for just one person to walk through! For a 5 bed dorm, there was not enough space to even get dressed comfortably!

Great place to stay if you are travelling alone. I will definetly go there again if i go to Miami. Rooms are small and there is no much space, ant the bathroom is not very clean. But the linens anf towel were clean and AC working fine. Wifi was working OK too. The atmosphere is great and location too.

High on character, low on amenities, this is the place to go if you want to actually meet & interact with people and great conversations and connections make it worth putting up with the noise and lack of amenities or even cleanliness. Good choice if you\'re there to socialize and not if you are looking for something else or whine at inconveniences or noise levels - if you\'re there to party and not sleep... great place!

Staff mnade you feel unwelcome, rooms had not bee cleaned in some time, bathroom was filthy, there was no where to stay out of the rain we had to go else where in south beach, "breakfast" consisted of two stale pieces of toast and some questionable jam. Extremely over priced for what it is and you would recieve far better accomodation and service at the local homeless shelter. I have travelled extensively in developing countries and have not come across more inadequate accomodation.

Excellent location in South Beach, and above all, the staff are all very very friendly and helpful. The hostel is a mix of people living there and travelers, and it isn\'t a great looking place, but if you are easy-going and are ok with that then it\'s fine if you are a complicated person or want privacy, then look for another place. We stayed two nights and had no problems at all. Parking is cheaper by the art museum just two corners away. All in all, it was ok considering how much we paid.

I don\'t know why this hostel has got such good remarks. It was terribly dirty, the staff was extremely unfriendly and you are not supposed to open your door if it is knocked on it because you might be robbed. It says that breakfast is included, but you get a maximum of two toast, jam and butter. Loud music starts early in the morning and stops late at night. So if you are planning to stay there,I recommend spending most of the time out, taking most of your valuables with you.

Chris, Sherrie and Valentina are awsome. I'm going to add a photo to my profile and you all will see something that you don't see at other Hostels.

When I first read the reviews to the hostel, I was a little nervous about going there. After checking in, I was surprised how WRONG the reviews were. Santa Barbara has a nice place to relax outside. The hostel is full of people and fun. I liked the staff, the lobby with the big screen TV and the free computers. The hostel was clean until some nasty travelers checked in. Don't be fooled by travelers who can't keep a clean room and are mad at the staff for making them pay bill. Nice place
