The location is very good but the general state of the rooms is not so good.

For starters, from the moment we went into the hostel, the receptionist was neither nice nor friendly. All he talked about was the amount of money we owed him. We paid for our stay and he tried to make us pay the 10% that we had already paid hostel world again. Rooms are very dirty. Sheets and towels are not changed every day. Night shift security guard (only person present on the premises at night) was always drunk. Kitchen is more disgusting than any toilets I've seen. Very noisy atmosphere.

Probably the worst hostel I have been in. It's certainly a hostel that's about the money and not about the people. I can't think of anything good to say about this place.

BETTER THAT SLEEPING ON THE STREET. The sleaziest Hostel ever; I’ve been to over 40 in S.A. & Europe. Kitchen should be condemned. Staffs were as friendly as caged alligators; breakfast (Burned toast and cheap coffee) No cooking utensils.

I really didn't appreciate how I was greeted by the staff. Very unprofessional. We got what we paid for 25$ stay in Miami obviously does not come with a sparkling floor. We paid to go with the pub crawl that was offered with hostel and ended up being ripped off once at the club. If you are really really not picky this is a roof over your head and you can meet people which is what we wanted to do. It's a good time if you have consumed enough to sleep soundly and not think too much.

Unfriendly staff, noisy and dirty rooms. Breakfast consists of 2 slices of bread with jam. They provide free internet.

Awesome hostel, good location, decent price. Only stayed one night so don't have too many comments. The staff wasn't the most welcome but it didn't affect me. Only used it to sleep, and it did the job perfectly.

Bad experience & bad impression, I don't stay in the hostel, I had made reservation for two nights and when I checked in, the unhappy staff ask for Passport, I gave her U.S driving license, she (Eastern Eroupean assent) said we don't take U.S driving license, our policy, we just take passport! Seriously? It does not say in the Hostelworld.com if this hotel only for foreign people and not U.S resident. I was trying to find out why? She was so rude and unpleasantly answer the question, so bad !

The smallest 8-bed dorm i have ever seen! You almost need to climb through the beds to get to the bathroom. If you are JUST sleeping there, and you have no problem with the other people in that room, its ok. But we had some stinky farting snoring dude there. Incredibly loud AC as well. But unbeaten price! We spent a night for just 16,50 € there. Even got some toast with jam for breakfast. But you recognize, the Americans are not really into backpacking. Guests were less firendly but suspecting

I wrongly booked my dates so had to make a change (2 weeks) ahead of my arrival. I phoned SB to confirm the change. I had to call back 5 times for an email conf. They refused to send I too me. The balance I had to pay on arrival was $175, the man on the phone (Hans-manager) said $226. You get what you pay for, but at SB you DON'T get more for paying $50 more than you have to. Be WARNED this place does NOT serve breakfast, only toast and coffee. My private room was clean.Lisa thanks for your help

This is just a place to crash if you're heading to Miami and plan on being at the beach or out, which there is plenty to do. I had a room by myself and it was just a bed. No TV, no toileties (did have towels). Convenient to the airport since the 150 drives right by there.

The girl at reception was very helpful; checking things I could've just done myself on google. The 8 bed dorms are pretty tiny. Four bunk beds have pretty much been crammed into the rooms, with about the size of a toilet cubicle to move about in the centre of the room. Having said that, though, my stay was comfortable, as all I needed was there. This place looks like it used to be a motel. The location is fantastic!

We stayed 2 nights at the hostel and couldn't wait to leave. Even though the hostel is in a good location the rooms were very tiny and cramped. We we're in a room that could fit a double bed and it had 4 bunks and 8 people! The bathroom was dirty and there was never any toilet paper. The beds we're uncomfortable. We paid a cheaper rate at a new hostel (which I won't name) that had facilities 100 times better than this.

The location was good, but there was no locker available for luggages or backpack. The toilet was broken in our 8 bed dorm we ask the guy to fix it but he didn't... (you could easily imagine what it looks like after 1 day....) Walls and floors are disgusting I guess they rarely clean it. I usually never complain about hostels but this one was so far the worst hostel I never been!

Not so much space in the 8-bedroom. I did a few hostels in my life, none of them were that small. And that is maybe why the room and especially the bathroom weren't clean at all... ( btw in the toilets, a toilet bruch could help to keep it a little bit cleaner and nice!!!) The common space isn't very favourable to socialising...

I stayed in one of the private rooms on the ground floor. It was a clean and nice room, although you got the noise from the courtyard. Staff were helpful in booking tours. It was'nt a party hostel as such, if thats what your looking for. Its a little expensive compared to the other hostels around, but i think its worth it, although the breakfast could be better for the guests who have the private rooms and have paid alot more.

The reviews are all true ! its dirty! the hostel is located between two large trash bins ! the staff are all real creepy! its dirty smelly! the kitchen is out of order! the toilets dont flush! they say they offer free breakfast on the website! not true!!! and to top it all off we weren't given our deposit back! cause they claim we never gave them one! only $5 i know but still its the principle! fianlly the squash into a room as many beds as they possibly can! the rooms are just so smelly!
