FALSE ADVERTISING: I was charged an additional 13% tax, even though Hostelworld's terms and conditions "require that property owners display prices which are inclusive of all value added and other additional taxes." I was charged $3 to store my luggage in a closet, even though the hostel profile says "FREE luggage storage." The staff is incompetent: they checked me out and moved my stuff even after I had paid for the night. That said, the location is excellent and air conditioning is a plus.

Great location, 2 pieces of toast was the free breakfast. Bunk beds weren't put together properly so they creaked like mad and moved during 'sleep'. Good value for money

We had question on guy on reception about rules, but he had a really important call with his friend about selling motobyke. 43 minutes! There was a really big ants family, which started migration around my bed and they thouth I was threat for them and they bit me 18 times! On the other side of our apt some young girl propably wanna baby and with her bf tried to make it 3 times in the night and 2 times before lunch! On her bed!

The location is great and you get to meet lots of people. It only could be cleaner and there could be bathrooms outside the bedrooms. Also, lockers could be in the rooms. Overall, it's a good hostel if you are looking to meet new people, but dont expect to have a great night sleep if you need to get rest.

internet is free, the basic breakfast is included in the price, great people work in there-they do theyre best to help you out and answear at any queries you might have, the 8beds room are not that big but for the price i definetely say that is great, mosquito are everywhere in florida especially in miami beach, this hostel is really easy to reach from the airport-only one direct bus(150 for 2.35$-30minutes), great location, in 2minutes walk i was on the beach. thumb up for me =)

I'm conflicted on this review. On the one hand this is hostel is the cheapest in South Beach so you would expect some "discomforts" however on the other hand I think there is a minimum that any hostel should provide. As mentioned in the many reviews the dorms are EXTREMELY small (8 beds-8 feet by 12 feet room). The front desk guy (the only employee) seemed really angry and not very willing to help. He gave me a room key but in the room there was absolutely no clear way to see which bed was free.

Fantastic location - seconds from the beach, close to shops and bars. Good layout and a really lively friendly place. HOWEVER - ants nest in the bathroom, not ideal. But the staff were absolutely awful!! I made a booking for 2people 9months in advance and we got there and were told there were no beds, then they found beds but we were split into different rooms. I would actually stay here again because of location, price and atmosphere but beware group bookings may not be kept as a group here!!!!

The Cuban girl on the front desk was really confused and didn´t even hand out us a key for our room. So every stranger was able to step in our room whenever he wants.

I'm glad I stayed only one night at this Hostel. The bedroom was so small with 8 beds and totally dirty. They booked in one room and gave the key of another room and it was difficult to check out because they couldn't find my record. The staff wasn't friendly and also chatged me to keep my luggage in the storage room afterI checked out. It was one of the worst Hostel I've ever been to and wouldn't recomend to anyone.

Great location. Staff seemed rather uninterested. Grounds needs some love. If you want to party till the early morn then this is the place for you. If you need your rest look elsewhere.

Ghetto little hostel with 8 beds crammed into what should be a 4 bed room. Impossible to walk in the room with your backpack on. It's a joke. That being said, the place is a lot of fun, and next to everything including the beach. If I'm ever in Miami, I'm going there.

Everything was good until I was asked to check out a day before the actual day i had booked because I was placed in a 6 bed instead of an 8 bed. So when you check into this places make sure your date and amount of money paid is right. other than that I enjoyed the roommates I had in Santa Barbara Hostel!

the owner looks scary & unwelcoming. The location could not be better, its down the street from miami beach and everything is walking distance compared to the price you are paying. All the rooms have AC so that is great but the rooms have very limited space.
