The hostel is a bit too crowd. It's ok to have 12 girls in a room only if the room is spacious enough. On the first day of my stay, there are 8 girls in the room. I was affected by the activities/ movement of other girls deeply that I could not have a good sleep.

location is super! very close to the beach and 15mins to main street or just a few by shuttle (which is 25cts). staff was friendly, nice people stayed here... unfortunately though, the dryer was broken and some of the women's restrooms only have a shower curtain^^ but i would recommend it or go again myself!

The location is AMAZING! Very clean, the only real complaint I had was with regards to Room 10 even though it has its own bathroom, the room smelled moldy. Maybe it's because the windows aren't kept open but there was excessive moisture in that room. Also, the walls and/or ceilings are quite thin making it hard to hear other guests' conversations. Overall, a great experience.

Good place but infrastructure is not good and dorms are ok! The bikes disposable for rental are all in bad condition, so don´t help.

The staff was so friendly and the location was perfect! I enjoyed my stay immensely and really appreciated the toast and jam in the morning. Thanks!

Outstanding location next to Amtrak, close to pier, and downtown Santa Barbara. Little pricey but that's Santa Barbara for you. Really liked the parking lot. Breakfast was so-so and started really late: 8:30 AM.

I have to assume that the bed sheets are clean, but they are torn and frayed and are no longer white. Those need to be replaced, stat. The beds are torn and stained so those need to be thrown away. The curtains at the very least need some washing. Bunk beds have no ladder to reach the top, which makes it difficult for a small person to get up or down. Unlike the women's shower room, the men's shower has no windows to ventilate and the toilets have practically zero flushing power.
