Staff was not very friendly, there was only one bathroom for each place and it was just open no curtains or anything so the water went everywhere in the bathroom and the water would remain on the floors for the whole stay. breakfast was corn flakes and croissants...that's all. gladly old town in very small so it wasn't a long walk but it's at the top of city and annoying to get to at night

The double room is actually an empty space on the ground floor made up in a room. It's windows-free and wet. The stairs pass throug the room, so everytime sbdy goes upstairs that's like he's knocking on the door. Worse, the boiler is in the room, so everytime sbdy use water, it makes noise. In short, very bad deal.

We were in "Freddy House". Difficult to find, but good location. Clean, quite nice. Shower was only luke-warm and flooded bathroom floor. Sheets were not included, and we were not offered the disposable ones that they have prices for in the room. Overall, it was better than we expected after reading some other reviews.

It's a basic hostel, and will fit its purpose: quiet area and clean enough inside. It is also in a traditional old house, so you'll experience the authentic Bari lifestyle. The only downside was that they added another 4 euros per my whole 3 nights stay, because the guy at the entrance said is "town tax" (!?!). I didn't like that, because everywhere I stayed before with hostelworld I paid what was said on the site.

Good value for money but not a hostel for atmosphere more of a stop over. No lockers or secure place and just the one door to enter the room i was staying in. There is also no wifi in the rooms as it says online only in the central 'office' it is essentially scattered around the old town of Bari.

Place to sleep under a roof, nothing more. The hostel was clean, normal, was easy to find, and has a great location. But: there was no heating inside, so there was f...ng cold during the nights we stayed there.

It is a basic place, but it is well located. At reception there was a BAngladesh boy, who was very kind. It is in the old city. It is a not a hostel like North Europe hostel: it is a very simple one. There was no heating system. In any case we enjoy it.

In the whole hostel there are just 2 doors - outside and to the toilet. Rest of the rooms are all interconnected, you have to go around everybodys bed if you go to the toilet/bed late or early. It is very cold there. Just one toilet combinated with shower for the whole hostel.

no pillow slips. Rooms had no doors but were walk-through areas. Staff demanded a payment in excess of the pay on arrival amount and then would not let me use the internet to show them that they were wrong. Hidden V.A.T not disclosed before the original deposit. No free internet - some fabricated excuse used. Read and print out the information page from the website before taking the risk with these fraudsters.

The big problem with this hostel is that the reception and the locations where you can stay are in totally different part of the city. So, after we walked for an hour to reach the reception, we had to walk another 30 min back. Ironically, in the same direction from which we came - so, at the end, we were almost in the same place as we started, but after 2 hours time and extremly tired. Also, the hotel was extremly dirty.
