The room was fine- the bathroom rather small and the sink was difficult to use. The kettle supplied did not work but there was a good kitchen and dining room,Easy to find and close enough to town to walk.Thank you Dermot

Still very much more of a B&B than a hostel. Dermot the owner was very friendly and willing to provide help on information to get the most out of your visit to Limerick. Very pleasant room, with en-suite+TV. Would recommend here for sure, however theres a fair walk in to town around 15-20 minutes, which didn't bother me personally. There are cashpoints, off-licences, pubs and fast food restaurants within 2 mins walk. So a very good place to stay on a budget if willing to walk/taxi into town.

VERY nice staff, decent location (10 min walking from downtown) but horrible beds!

Good points were the kitchen, the staff, free parking and breakfast was reasonable. No real bad points, a bit of a walk to town but for us that was fine.

This is a great place to stay, very clean and all, but definitely a walk from the downtown area, so think 15 min to dt, another 15 to the bus station, and you pass by A LOT of other B&Bs and lodges on the way. The owner is the man and will tell you where to go, however limerick is a hurt city so don't stay too long.

Santa Cruz House is a nice quiet place to stay in Limerick, Dermot is a great and warm host who will help you in anything to make your visit a pleasant one. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean and comfortable. But the hostel is definitely a good walk from the city centre.

When we booked the hostel was called B&B, but when we arrived we were told that there is no more breakfast. We were given a poor small breakfast though. But except that, the stay was very nice.

This is a B+B still trying to convert itself into a hostel. Although it is quite far from the city center, it is a safe walk. I had two nice encounters with the staff and the quality of the facilities is very good.
