We had a wonderful time at the Santa Martha Hostel and would recommend it to anyone! Maria was a fantastic host and has really carved out a charming B&B in the heart of arguably the best city on Gozo in Marsalforn. We had a spacious private room. The place was clean, very nicely furnished, modern, but not lacking that Gozo charm. Some quick hits: Good breakfast; EXCELLENT location - tons nearby (swim, snorkel, bike, etc.); informational host; and unbeatable price. You won't be disappointed.
We were welcomed by a very kind woman who gave us some tips to where to go and what to see. The hostel was very clean, very spacious, and you'll have free breakfast. As for the place, there's a beach near by where we went snorkeling, and it is just a 15 minute hike to see the statue of Jesus. We went to see him at sunrise and the view was absolutely stunning. We both were very happy to stay at this hostel, and we'd recommend to stay for a couple of nights to relax and go sight seeing. Thanks!
Nice experience. Good place and Mary is a very friendly person.

It's not really a hostel, just a simple questhouse. Location is good with plenty of diving centers in the area and supermarkets closeby. The only negative thing was that there was a shared bathroom next to our room of which the water drain made a lot of noise (much more than the shower itself).
Maria is very Nice and atencious. So if you are in marsalform and looking for a place to stay, this one is great.
Staying with Maria was a delight, the hostel is like staying in a large maltees home. Its facilities are good and clean and socialising is an easy option in common areas if you want it, as is privacy if you do not. I would love to go back :)
The place is wonderful for someone trying to get away: the hostel sits on a nice village, with restaurants, pubs and a beach. Public transportation in Malta and Gozo, though, can be challenging, since it takes a lot of time to get around with it and the buses are not very frequent. Maria is a great host and does everything for your stay to be wonderful. The rooms are spatious and nice and clean. Gets a bit cold at night.
Excellent choice for those who are looking for cozy, clean, comfortable and quiet accommodation with local atmosphere. Maria is a wonderful lady, always there to help and knows everything you might like to ask about Gozo and Malta. Staying there was a pure pleasure. Highly recommended.
