We loved our stay at Sanus House. The hospitality was unbeatable, as was the food. The location is easy to find in daylight, but we'd recommend having a good sense how to get back if you're returning at night. We had some trouble finding our way back in the dark.

Serita and her family were always very helpful with suggestions of where to go and how much to pay for local transport and this was much appreciated as the local transport system is chaotic but cheap. Her evening meals were simple and used all local fresh ingredients to give a real experience of Nepalese food. WiFi always available despite power cuts. Patan Durbhar square is almost better than Kathmandu so location has many benefits. A great experience and highly recommended.
