Amazing little place with great staff and a 3 min walk to the beach. I have been to many hostels around the world and i would put this in my top 5. I would 100% recommend.

This is a great hostel. Super clean, super chilled. The location is very central and close to the beach, the staff are all very friendly, knowledgable and helpful, the new bar is a great place for meeting people and just hanging out, the breakfast is good value, quick and simple, the rooms are big and cool, the beds are comfortable, they provide good towels for both showering and hitting the beach, the internet is fast enough to Skype call or watch a movie. I'll be back. Thanks for everything.

Best hostel I have stayed in in CHINA. Been traveling in China for three years so have a lot to compare it to. Just a wonderful friendly place. Could not ask for friendlier people than Chris and Linda.

It was an absolute pleasure staying here, An extremely welcoming experience from the moment we walked in til the moment we left. Definitely The Best Undisputed Hostel In Sanya. You'll be pleased by the services provided by Chris, Linda & other staff. They were a sensible bunch, very warm hearted, helpful & In my eyes Family orientated when it came towards interacting with others who were staying at their Guesthouse. Before booking my room, I read the comments about this place. I thought they mustn't be real. Every review included the owner's names and were incredibly warm and extremely positive. I thought.... impossible, who would know the owner's names? How could a hostel be this good? However, upon arriving at Sanya Backpackers, I quickly realized that they were all very, very true. This place is the pinnacle of hostels. I've never been treated so nicely and so warmly. This is the perfect place to stay!!

One of the best and friendliest hostels I've ever been to! Clean, close to the beach and really nice staff. The only negative thing we experienced was the trips they arranged, it was way more expensive than it was worth. But, like I said, it's optional and the hostel it self is very good so I will definitely recommend it!

good place to relax and meet new people. Tanja and Chris remember your name and you feel like geting a new family. They help you with everything and try to make everything possible , whatever you want. i realy enjoyed the time there! The shower are quite small and the beds are quite hard ( like verywhere in china) but you do not that much time to spend the time in bed!

Truly awesome hostel. Like a home away from home. The owners Chris and Linda are the nicest and most welcoming people you could ever meet. They remember every guests name and greet you everyday. The hostel is super clean and fresh towels everyday. Day trips offered are awesome and worth very penny . Perfect location 5 mins walk to the beach, close to shops and restaurants. Food and drinks offered on site are great and v.good value for money. Best hostel in Sanya by a mile. I will be back again.

Wow, where to start? I've stayed at several hostels during my travels in Southeast Asia, but this one far exceeds all of them. The owners, Chris and Linda, are awesome hosts. They make you feel at home. Everyday new towels are given (even beach towels), the tidy up the rooms, make the beds, etc. The ratings say it all! Thank you guys for an awesome stay in Sanya!

Initially I was going to stay just 5 days but I was having such a great time that I decided to stay 10 more days! The rooms are great: soft mattress, clean, AC... they even provide towels to go to the beach. The staff was always helpful ... When I come back I'm staying here for sure! Franco

Sanya Backpackers is one of the best hostels I've stayed in!the staff is helpful and can remember all the guests' name from the beginning, the location is good, very quiet to sleep at night but close enough to almost everything you can do in Sanya. Nice atmosphere for meeting other travellers. Will definitely stay again if i will ever go back to Sanya!

I was pleasantly surprised to find such accommodating, friendly and 'personal' service at Sanya Backpackers, and the location of the hostel was also top-notch. Thumbs up!

Our stay in Sanya Backpackers really was a pleasure. Chris and Linda (and of course little Mimi, the dog) were soo nice. It is a good place to meet people and to get the right information were to go during your stay in Sanya. We also did the offered surfing tour wich was great and totally worth the money!

Can't beat the location in Sanya,owners very helpful,friendly but also run a tight ship,keeps things safe and still fun.My second time there,and someday It will be third.

Fantastic place to spend the night or a week. Very friendly atmosphere, Chris and his wife Linda are very hospitable and can point you the right direction for anything you need in and around Sanya. They offer very reasonable snorkel/SCUBA excursions that the owner Chris runs and is also a Dive Master. Wifi is fast and free, three minute walk to the beach, you cannot go wrong with the location and price.

Chris and Linda were so helpful and friendly and really made us feel most welcome during our stay at their hostel. I would recommended this hostel to anyone that wants clean comfortable affordable accomodation in Sanya. They are great hosts and will go out of their way t o help you. A very clean hostel. Nice English speaking staff but couldn't help us much with information about things to do here and practical stuff. The beds was another minus, they were really really hard.

My time at this hostel couldn't have been better. I've stayed in over thirty hostels throughout Asia and Europe and this is easily one of the best. It's fun, clean, has a great location, and a relaxed atmosphere. Chris and Linda are wonderful hosts and I recommend them to anyone who is planning a trip to Sanya. You won't be disappointed!
