My stay in the hostel (also called PRINCE HOTEL)started with a huge discussion because of the pickup price from lao cao.I had an email from them setting a price. They (owner and his wife) didn't recognize their mistake so I was mad. Finally, 20min later, the wife apologize to me when I was going to my room. My room was "ok" if you don't take into account the cockroaches and not-so-clean floor and bed. Don't book anything in the hostel. They have huge commissions (rent a bicycle, train tickets).
