Stayed in Private room with my boyfriend and couldn't have asked for anything fancier. Everything was great. 5min walk from MRT line. Dining options are a bit more "expensive" than usual, better eat out.

It'd be better if every floor get a free drinking water.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was disappointing that I could only have one device on the internet at a time -- could have saved a little on data if I could connect my phone while I was on my computer. Although I imagine most won't have that problem. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Hostel, very clean and organized. We had a great time. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. The common areas were inviting and a wonderful place to relax. We would defiantly recommend this hostel to anyone.

Saphaipae is a great hostel, and I'm always glad to get a chance to visit again. The service is really good, and for such a clean, modern property, the prices are surprisingly competitive. The hostel has the perfect location for anybody who wants to explore Bangkok - without getting lost in the noise and chaos of the main tourist hotspots. On top of that, the in-house restaurant is excellent. Highly recommended hostel!

An excellent hostel in an amazing location in Bangkok. A definite if you want to meet people and use it as a base to explore the city. Would definitely go back again.

Great hostel with plenty of facilities and friendly staff. However did notice that a number of the security doors (those requiring the key card for entry) do not always fully shut on their own- meaning anyone could slip in.

Saphaipae is one of the greatest hostel I've ever stayed in in Southeast Asia. The facility is great and the hostel is extremely clean. The hostel located right at Silom, a commercial district with big malls and very convenient to travel around since it's very close to the sky train station, but if you're into late night party then you'll be disappointed since the area is quite at night. AC room is good to beat the heat of Thailand. Staffs are friendly, plus there are computers for guests to use

Just a great location, so close to the BTS, the central pier which i used regularly and the lebus hotel (hangover building), the staff are very helpful, pretty much knew the answers for all my questions. has everything you need, pcs, free wifi, restaurant, cafe, tv common area, so you can meet people. i stayed in a 8 bed female dorm, was so clean the rooms and the bathrooms, cant express enough how great this hostel is.

Big city hostel. Huge dorms on many floors. Not the most sociable but has great facilities and is very clean. 3 min walk from BTS station and 15 min walk to Central Piew thus making travel around the city easy. Would definitely stay here again.

I only stayed in Bangkok for two days, but Saphaipae Hostel was a great place to come back to at night. It was definitely one of the best hostels I stayed at while traveling through Asia. The dorms and bathrooms are large, and cleaned every day. The staff were very helpful, and offer a lot of resources (maps, itineraries, schedules) to plan your stay in Bangkok. There isn't a lot near the hostel, but it's a short walk from the sky train. It would also be nice if they provided towels.

Awesome air conditioning power for such a large room.

Staff were brilliant and very helpful, restaurant and coffee bar serve great food and snacks. Stayed here twice once at the beginning of our stay then booked for the last night before flying home, clean rooms and bathrooms, large lockers to fit a large bag and personal lights and plug points by each bed. Felt very secure here and other travellers were really friendly!

My second time in there, and I've been in others hostels in BKK. This one is definitely the best for the money, very modern, clean, huge lockers and good location (near the skytrain). The only down side, this time there were a lot of Chinese groups, they are very loud and messy. It kind of ruins the atmosphere for a independent traveler that wants to meet other backpackers and have a good time.

It is great facilities here, easy to find and fairly good located with easy acsess to BTS or riverboat transportation. The staff is great and super friendly. It is a great place to hang out, with good facilities, laundry scervices and DVDrooms for lazy sundays and the shared grounds are a great place to hang out and meet people. The only (slight) minus is the restaurant wich is a bit expencive and the menu is'nt too great. But all in all the perfect place t stay in Bangkok!

Great hostel, probably the best I've stayed at. Just a shame it's a 100 baht taxi ride from Khao San Road (the main tourist/party road). Good location if you need to get to the airport.

The staff were great but the atmosphere with other travellers wasn't as open as other places I've been in Thailand- maybe it's just Bangkok? Very clean, good facilities, location could be better but the sky train is very cheap and efficient, and you would pay more for a perfect location. Would recommend.

good location from BTS " surask " station , just 5 mins to hostal, good security. some staff are helpful, but some are not and seems unfriendly, may be they are tired. I suggested that, they should update their knowledge.
