Nice hostel, well decorated, all services provided. We were upgraded to a 6 bed dorm, which have a much better layout as lockers as the huge lockers aren't stacked. Room 402? next to the lift has very poor wifi signal, so no surfing in bed!

Simply perfect. Cool envionment, nice bathrooms with hairdryers, big lockers, strategic location, very safe, it even has its own ATM. Going back to this hostel prior to leaving Thailand, that is for sure!

The place is very big which is the best part of this hostel. Facilities are good, clean enough. One thing that made me feel bad is the staff. They just seems don't want to listen to you and kept telling they are doing the best. The young ladies at the reception desk are not friendly at all. Except, a boy who can speak Chinese is super nice!! Above all, if you want to have a place to sleep and relax, that's the place. If you want to make friends or enjoy in a hostel, I won't recommend it.

Perfect stay, plenty of things to do. Nearby sky train surasak station, enabling people to move around the city. Definetively, a great place to stay in Bangkok.

This hostel looks good, has a great location. But when I arrived there, I was the only guest there. Later on there where more people, but the hostel doesn't create a cosy atmosphere. The common room isn't invitening to sit with other guests. At the 'reception' there was often just nobody, very hard to check in. At one night, the girl from the reception invited her friends (who where not sleeping in the hostel) to sit in the common room and hang out. I would'nt stay there again.

Great facilities, great beds, two plugs per person in the dorm, female floor is great. Huge, so they really have everything a backpacker needs, great info, etc. But it also makes it very impersonal and characterless, and staff are helpful but not really friendly. And they wouldn't let me back onto the female floor after checking out so I dried a bra in the third floor as told to by staff, and it was stolen, and staff weren't very nice about it.

This would be my third review... still the best hostel I've stayed at in South East Asia: just exceptionally clean, no mosquitoes, friendly staff, no curfew (how could there be when you arrive and leave around 3am?), so on and so forth.

Nice place. More like a hotel in terms of atmosphere. Wifi was either really slow or not working most of the day.

This is my first time staying outside the Khao San area. The facilities & atmosphere are very good and the price is affordable. The only con is you need to walk a bit for your meals. Besides the hostel restaurant, there are no eating places nearby. However, I will stay here again.

I loved my stay here! The hostel was incredibly clean (especially for such a large establishment) and the rooms were freshened every day. Bathrooms were spotless with free soap. The AC dorms were so pleasant to come back to, and food downstairs was reasonably priced (especially the cafe! great kiwi shakes!) The staff were always willing to help us out, and the hostel had maps/directions detailing how to get to to all popular locations via bus/sky train (which is close!). I'll definitely be back

Wow, amazing hostel in Bangkok! Look no further than Saphaipae Hostel for a fun and comfortable place to crash while you're in town. Everything is very clean, rooms are extremely spacious with huge lockers, and the hostel has a great vibe with lots of other travelers to meet. I can not recommend this place more hightly! Wifi access is pretty good in the rooms and there are computers that you can use in the common area (free of charge). The computers have memory card slots to easily upload pics.

NIce little hostel, staff do there job but don't expect happy smiley front desk. Only issue. Cleaners don't throw anything away that guests haven't put in the bin. The showers have tiny shelves which aren't clean because they are full of old razors and empty shampoo bottles!

Rooms we're damp and very smelly. Celt the place was molding due to abscence of regular fresh air... I felt the place was Too big with far over 100 beds...

This is an amazing hostel! It really raises the bar on hostels. It felt more like a hotel in terms of quality of facilities. Massive bright bathrooms with rows and rows of sinks, mirrors, toilets, and showers. All spotless and new. Super comfortable beds with nice blankets. Personal nook, power outlet and light - huge personal lockers to fit all of your belongings. Nice huge common area with attached restaurant. Great location a block from the BTS. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place. The tours the offer aren't quite worth the money, but the hostel itself is a lovely place. Well worth it to stay in one of the bigger rooms! You'll meet some really cool people that way.
