Dorms are clean and large, staff are friendly and helpful and it's right near a skytrain station. Individual backpack lockers for everyone and your own bed light and couple of power points. The atmosphere is slightly lacking, but with a tv room and bar provided there's not much to complain about
I tend to stay at Saphaipae when ever I'm in Bangkok, whether it's in the dorm or more typically a private room. It has good access to the city being a 5 min walk from a BTS station, the rooms are well equiped, clean and secure. It would be nice to have breakfast included, especially if you're paying for a private room.

Rooms were very dark and the dorm could use more lighting
Everything was great, when I read the reviews beforehand they sometimes said that the reception wasn't that nice but i found them to be very supportive! And them being picky about money? come on, the minimart closeby was more expensive! the only thing that bugged me was that we didn't really have HOT water, it wasn't cold but top was lukewarm and considering the outside temperature it was comfortable but after the dusty tuktuk tour - with great tuktuk drivers, i have to say - you want it blazing
The location is hard to find other foods near by, its restraurant food is not worth with its price. I can't believe that now a day there are some desktops don't have the adobe flash plugin, it should be improved.
