nice staff, but some of the staff don't really speak English. The place is a bit far from town but it is cute and cozy. It is like staying in someones house. I spent no time here besides at night time to sleep but it didn't really seem like there was a "hostel atmosphere" here. I didn't really see that many other backpackers, just a few families. normal dorm room, maybe 8 beds or so, bed was sleepable.

It was a surprise to have tatami mat floors, but the room was nice and spacious.

Even it's far a bit from subway station but not too far. And atmosphere is good if you like Japanese style room. Anyway, in winter, it's quite difficult to get there because of lots of snow on path. Staff is friendly.
