This was a nice place to stay, owner was great and they have really early check in from 12 noon. They have a washer and dryer in the building and a big place for cooking and eating meals. It doesn't have the atmosphere of a traditional hostel as it is more like a house. They have lockers for putting valuables. Nice location as well near the main shopping district.
This hostel is a bit shabby for the price compared to others I have stayed in around Japan. I did not feel so safe with my things there. Yet, it served the purpose of sleeping very well and the location next to Susukino is excellent. I had a very quiet sleep.
About a 15 minute walk from Susukino, this place is easy to find. You can walk to most places from here or just take the subway. For the price, I was disappointed. The pillow and futon was thin and uncomfortable. The atmosphere was not greatly welcoming or helpful for socialising. If you want to hang out with other travellers, cook for yourself or really do anything other than sleep, maybe best to go elsewhere.
