This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at on my around the world trip.Ahmed and Rami are brilliant, they are so helpful and really great blokes. The hostel is in a central location so you can see everything really easily. I will be back to visit very soon.

Generally recommended with caveats - The hostel did set us up with a rip-off artist driver who took us to some stable and began an abusively aggressive and completely mendacious hard sell. Since he was obviously known to the hostel (seemed glued to the couch our entire time there), they deserve a large share of blame for that BS. Bottom line - the hostel is a good option but don\'t let them get away with the unfortunately standard Egyptian crookedness. Read Owner Comments

Situated on the 7th floor of a dirty and poor building but very centrally located, only two minute walk from the Egyptian museum, friendly and helpful staff, free pick up at the airport, air con, clean, good breakfast, good rate, well furnished. High standard for an hostel in Cairo.

This place is precisely what you want in terms of a hostel in downtown Cairo. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice cool airconditioning, no fuss and an excellent price.

This hotel gives you very good value for money. The free airport pickup is very usefull since the chance is small that a taxidriver knows the hotel name or the street it is in.

Sara Inn is pretty good. The location is a selling point, and the staff is very helpful. I was a little turned off by the smell in my room, which after two days I figured out was bug spray. It's a safe place though and they have wi-fi.
