Run down place, I think there are better options in town. Wifi also didn't work.

Place was a bit run down and not super clean. Also pretty loud in my room. The staff was very helpful and kind though. The restaurant was decent.

I had great time in sarvar. Jodhpur didnt give me great impression except a fort. However, staying in sarvar hostel gave me great experience. Staff family was really friendly and helpful. I felt i am one of their family members while staying in a sarvar. Cost is reasonable and room was big and clean!

We had a room on the ground floor, so it was cold, and extremely noisy with the early risers (agitated children) & people talking in the "garden" at night. The room had flowery tiles that made it look very kitsch, but cosy. Shower was ok,with hot water. Staff was a bit disorganized so we had to get our own linen and towels. Poor internet broadband. This could be a much nicer place of efforts were put into it. Apart from that, we enjoyed the rooftop a lot and especially the views of the fort.

Location and view make this one of the best (if not the best) places to stay in Jodhpur as a backpacker. Rooms are clean and cheap and the restaurant on the roof serves great food (try the porridge for breakfast!!!). Not a party hostel but lovely place to stay. It's a bit of a maze around there so get a rickshaw from the station for a few rupees as they all know where it is. 5 minute walk to the market and the trip to the Fort is walkable too (30 mins up the hill).
