Across the street the water. Good bar in ground floor of hostel that has live music sometimes. Can get kind of noisy on those nights, but you should be in the bar for the bands anyways! Staff were very nice and helpful.

We arrived and they weren't expecting us, but were still able to accommodate us. When we first used the kitchen it was rather greasy under foot, but this didn't reoccur throughout the rest of the four nights. The heating was on very rarely, but aside from that we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you.

Have to complain about this hostel. It claims on website that breakfast and dinner are included, but when I arrived on the evening before New Year\'s Day, I was told they did not provide meals on holiday. I lived in that hostel two days, never saw the meals promised. So during the New Year\'s holidays, I have to live on some bread and biscutes I brought with myself. At least, you could send an email or a text message to notify this information, so that I could prepare some food for myself, since there i

Owner Comment (Show)
The web site DOES NOT say breakfast is included except with Bed Breakfast Accommodation. You arrived on a holiday. The restaurant WAS open from 5pm on 31st December. The shop supplies food and was open on 31st December. You paid £13 per night and no hostel in the UK would supply bed and food at this price! We cannot be responsible for you not reading or understanding the web site. You also had a room to yourself. NO MEALS WERE PROMISED so you have completely got the wrong idea.

Not many hostels on Isle of skye to choose from but i would definitely recommed it. Pretty decent rooms, a small kitchen and clean showers. Within the hostel facilities there is very nice and cosy pub (the only one in the village!!! with cheap drinks triple whiskey and coke for 4.50 quid!) and a small convenient store.
