The hostel staff was extremely friendly and helpful when we visited during Holi. They were able to help us go to the right places and not get harassed too much on the street. They were also very good about helping us with our trains. The downside to the hotel though is that it has a mold problem. Being someone whos allergic to mold I got sick really quick.

BEST SERVICE IN INDIA! The rooms were extremely stylish and clean, with working tv, phone and a/c in the rooms! The restaurant has great food and speedy wifi. The managers are extremely receptive to feedback, and the woman manager (who spoke impeccable English) gave me her phone number and told me to call her anytime if I ever needed anything--as a solo woman traveler, this really meant a lot to me!

the BEST HOT SHOWER I found in india so far, with steam and last more than 5 min. The location is very good, walking distance from the niros restaurant (must do) and cycle distance (or walking depending on your skills) from the pink city, including LMB restaurant (must do), located in a secondary street, most of rooms are oriented on very small streets and avoid the noise coming from the street at night, very clean, good wifi in the lobby, food at the restaurant is also a good value. nice staff.

A good cheap choice in Jaipur. Staff were friendly and helpful (even being able to track down a missing item from the laundry), internet was good (although only worked at the front). Only real issue we had was our room had no ventilation and as such felt damp, I imagine the more expensive rooms nearer the front don't have this problem. Oh, and all rooms are 'doubles', not 'twins'. Perfectly fine for a few days stay though :) Would recommend.

Basic room had no windows - though this probably meant the room was quieter than those next to the street. One of the staff members (a younger guy) was super helpful; he rang a gym for us to see if they would take casual clients. Another of the staff members was a bit brusque, but not rude. Restaurant food a bit bland. Good location on MI Road.
