Cheap and basic. 50% rating is fair. You should be able to handle it for a couple of nights. Stay in this place if you're low on cash and don't mind roughing it a bit. The place is just about clean enough, though there are a few stains here and there. The bedrooms are pretty cramped. My mate managed to pull a ladder off a bunk bed. The showers are pretty cold. The mattresses are just about alright. The staff do the job but aren't particularly friendly. 5/10 mins from Khao San Road.
The Hostel did not tell how to go there, so we lost 1 hour just looking for the hostel.

You must be the most ignorant person if you get a lot of bad reviews and dont change anything at all. we literally found every single complaint of earlier reviews. Dorm was bigger than booked / dorm should have AC but just had fans / booking should include breakfast but didnt. / no cleaning in 3 days as i confronted the staff, the next fact of the reviews showed up: the "i dont give a f*****g s**t" attitude. book at Rainbow guesthouse (closer to Khao San Road and just a few baht more)
The hotel rooms are very small and dirty.Passage is very narrow. No facility of drinking water.Staffs are very rude and good response.
I usually don't care about condition of sleeping place, but it was bad. Almost every facilities was broken and dirty. Plus, staff was not kind. You should pay overprice when you need something else.
Drove round in a taxi for an hour to find the hostel, nobody knew where it was. Arrived at 2am and were given a different room to what we had booked, but were told to pay the same price or go somewhere else. One toilet per floor, but 2 were blocked. We didn't feel safe in this hostel.
We only stayed for 1 night so it was bearable but would not recommend for longer stays as it is not a relaxing environment. Also be warned that the pictures make the rooms look A LOT better than they actually are. Oh and there are cockroaches.

I usually only like to focus on the positive in my reviews... that's just not possible with this place. Honestly the most rancid, god-awful hostel I've ever stayed in. The laundry list is huge so I'll just wrap it up here... biggest complaint - the staff are beyond rude. The most indifferent, aggressive and hostile staff I've ever encountered.
