Dorms are not so clean and showers flooded if you spent too long in them. There is also a water feature downstairs with stagnant water so there are lots of mosquitoes. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

I usually do not bother in reviewing Hostels, but I in this case I though it was important to advice AGAINST using this hostels, for three main reasons: 1) Security is poor. My door was opened during the day and money was taken out of my bag. 2) Staff were very rude to me when I refused to have breakfast in the restaurant they owned next door. 3) Value for money is bad. Nearly every hostel in Khao San rd would offer much cleaner and bigger rooms For les. Heavily disappointing in all areas.

we were a group of 3. room was filthy, beds had stains. mould on the walls and bathroom. we thought that was bad. it was easily eclipsed by the incompetent women working at reception. not only did they over charge us but they refused to help with directions and provide a map for travel. cats living in the hallways, which i guess would make less rats? smart move? would never stay here again. worst hotel/ hostel we have ever stayed at.

This is not a perfect hostel, but for money you pay you get a very good service.

Really awful place - I booked a single room and it was dirty, door didn't lock properly, windows didn't shut but luckily I brought my own mossie net. Staff unfriendly too. Its near khao San Ed but down a dark alley I didnt feel age walking down, but because it's close by it's hard to convince taxis to take you there for a reasonable price. If u were in a group would be ok.

This place is very bad value for money. The rooms look dirty and very sad. for same money you can get better rooms in same area. checked out next day and went somewhere else.

The hotel was clean, and provided simple breakfast at the restaurant a couple doors down. However they had trouble finding our hostelworld booking. Also, the "triple bed" room was really 3 beds pushed together to make one big bed. On the plus side, there was a place to put your own lock on the room door which made us feel good about the security of the room.

If your looking for some where quiet but really close to the night life this is the place, also the food stall directly outside is fantastic and very good value for money. For extra security you can use your own padlock on the outside of your room.
