Same as other posters warned about...bait and switch on the rooms. I booked an air-con/hot water, she gave me a fan/"warm" water. Said I'd have to pay 3x the amount to upgrade. No power outlets in room. Staff were pretty rude and unhelpful. Despite being in a very hard to reach area, it was however, only a 5min walk to beach which was nice. And the hotel had a good pool area where most guests congregated. The continental breakfast was decent. Food menu cheap. Overall, go somewhere else.

The staff are not approachable, the place is a breeding ground of MOSQUITOES, our first night was horrible so we have to upgrade to deluxe to avoid mosquitoes or else if your on a budget this place is not for you cause mosquitoes are included in your accommodation!

I liked the hostel. The staff was nice and the location is really good, close to the beach, shopping and nightlife in Kuta. The rooms are very hot! We stayed on the first floor in a room only with a fan. But even when the fan was operating there was no air getting into the room. Next time I would opt for a romm with A/C.

Good, cheap place to stay. The first night we arrived, got a really crappy room. It smelled and there was no sink in the closet size bathroom. We just talked to them the next day and asked for a better room or we were leaving and they upgraded us to a nicer room with a sink. Pool is good and the bar is convenient and cheap. They also have scooters for rent but don't pay more than 5,000 Rupiah.

Sayang Maha Mertah had a pretty good pool area for lounging, but that was about it. No WiFi in rooms, and our room (particularly the bathroom) had an awful mold smell that was difficult to get over. I thought the room it self was pretty cool (upstairs/downstairs, two small decks). For the price, we didn\'t expect much, so there is some good value here. Just don\'t expect a fantastic stay for this cheap.

jó kis szálloda, szuper helyen, és nagyon jó áron. igazából hostelnek kéne inkább hívni, a standard szobákban fiatalok vannak, és a profilja is arra emlékeztet inkább. folyamatosan ment a bővítés nappal, éjjel szerencsére nem. van ingyen wifi, némely szobából is elérhető, ami miatt főműsoridőben kb teljesen használhatatlan.

The worst hotel and worst service! January 9 working woman is the worst manager! When I do a room reservation through the Internet, the picture had a good room, but when I arrived and settled, a very different, very bad room. I asked to change room, I was refused. I duly paid for his room, he lived for some time, but one morning at the reception told me that they have handed over my room to another and I need to move out of the hotel, it's like that?? !!

Cold showers but it was so hot you could live without it - I brought a fishtank heater element along to spoil myself on those days when I wanted a luke warm shower - had to ask for 2 buckets (ember in indonesian) though. Many cheap massages, restaurants (especially that Masakan Padang) and laundries nearby. The restaurant at the hotel was brilliant. Book for 5 days or more and they offer free airport pickup or call the hostel when you land for pickup fee of 60000 Rupiah for less days booked.
