Love the interior design and the shades of blue. The boss is a chinese guy who is helpful and friendly. Location is good as it's walking distance to jonker street. There is a security lock at night so only guest of the hostel can enter. there are also bicycles for rent at rm3/hr & rm10 per day so going around the whole of malacca town is no problem at all. Convenient stores are conveniently located just across the road.

Arrived and the hostel was under rennovation--we were not notified ahead of time that the double room I had booked would not be available upon arrival even though I called before getting there to confirm the reservation. We were shown a shabby room with a queen bed that actually looked like an employee guestroom with no window, wet concrete floor, and dingy bathroom facilities. Despite getting 10% off our quoted rate, still not worth going back to ever again. Don't be misled by the pictures!

Love the room! Very creative arrangement with a cozy space underneath the bed. Should have asked for a room with window, though. Once we turned off the light, the room got totally dark. Everything was quite clean and well mantained. The staffs were very helpful, providing food and transport recommendations. My only concern was the tiny toilet/bathroom.
