The staff were amazing! Very helpful and clear with directions and answered all of our questions about the city. Very very warm, welcoming and friendly. Not located in the center of town, but very close to the wall and metro stations. Great value for your money. Would definitely recommend.

Although there is a little problem because I found the wrong street ,I still got very happy when I live in the hostel. The staff there are very kind and good to help and the living environment is very clean and nice.

I've stayed here 6 times and it gets worse each time. I had booked a double room but ended up sleeping in a dorm. The reason? The room door keyhole was blocked by some metal. I appreciate everything the staff did to solve the situation.The quality of this place has deteriorated over the years.Things used to run very efficiently, bathrooms were cleaner, there were towel hooks, clean kitchen, staff were a bit more honest. After the room change, I had to ask for my cash refund. Never again, sorry.

Could sounds weird to sleep in a kind of shop-window, but don't worry you can close the curtains, and you are imediately on the street. Forget about stairs and heavy backpack to lift. It is defitely okay if you need a hostel just to sleep.

It is a low-budget hostel, and you get what you are paying for.. The bathrooms were cleaned daily, but there was not hot water enough for two people to take a bath at the same time.. We had to change room after the first night, and even though we booked a double-room, we got a 5-bed-room.. It was fine, but not possible to sleep two people in one of the beds.. All in all fine.. It is very cheap, so we accepted the problems.. There was also free parking on the road in front - very practical..

Great hostle for young people who want to travel cheap. Good food for a good price, nice people I'll be back for shure :)

Comfortable beds, nice people and an excellent price! The only thing is that the door to the room is directly to the street, so maybe people concerned about security may worry a little when staying here.

The owners are very kind, it has a familiar atmosphere. It's a bit far from downtown though.

Good staff and the cafe was nice. The directions to the hostel were a bit confusing.

Average hostel - on the security side no locker was available in my room all were used up. Seemed to be long term guests who were using them up.

this hostel was perfect for us. the room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very nice and helpful, and you get to meet really nice people from all around the world with whom you can eat dinner and have fun. the location is also excellent for young people who want to experience berlin's night life ( all the clubs we went too were really close) overall, i highly recommend this hostel

Great staff, super friendly and willing to give advice. It is in an up and coming area that is close to the some of the Berlin Wall. Ended up in a private room for two people that had five beds in it, with lockers and everything!. Overall it was an excellent experience and I would definitely stay there again if I revisited Berlin!

An overall great hostel experience! The staff and the owner were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful...and unafraid to ask for help, too--the owner was renovating some of the rooms and snagged me coming out of the kitchen to help carry a chest of drawers down the sidewalk (which I was happy to do since he's such a swell guy). Would recommend with bells on...

The hostel doesn't have a very central location however it is close to the metro. It is not a very fancy hostel. but it is really cheap. The owner of the hotel was very friendly.

Our stay here was very good. There was some confusion with our room upon check-in, so they upgraded us to a nicer room without question! Also, the staff let us check out early AND refunded our last night when our travel plans changed. Awesome. It should be noted that some rooms in the hostel have doors that open directly to the street, and they do not all seem to be connected inside. A lot of long-termers here, too, but cool people! Heard they're upgrading the kitchen soon too. Should be nice!

Great, cheap place. It's a perfect thing that our room (4) was placed directly to the street so we could walk right in in the middle of the night without sensing to disturb anybody. You could use this as an ad, to choose the place. Nice mood, good folks.

So so, a place to put your head down, not much more but fairly decent.

Good Hostel in very interesting part of town, not so far away from East Side Gallery. Very helpful stuff. You can come back to hostel when you want. It's just 5 minutes from metro station "Frankfurter Allee". A good combination of price and quality. I can recomend this hostel.
