Great cooking facilites and showers, food is cheap and beer was 2 euro which is pretty cheap for the capital city, location is pretty far from the centre of berlin, but i would recommend hiring bikes and then the journey will be a lot shorter

Very nice hostel!!

I wish I had known before that reception was in the pub. The wifi doesn't reach to the rooms, but it's free.

We had a very nice stay in Schlafmeile Hostel! The room was spacious, with a couch (which was very nice)! It's near a metro station. The staff is very kind and they have a great burger at the Lindsay's Coffee/ Reception! =)

Excellent, Basic Hostel for a couple of nights in Berlin, Staff very friendly & helpfull. I would stay here again.

This is the second time we've stayed at Schlafmeille and we'll definitely be back again! Lovely staff made us feel very welcome at all times, great food & drink in the cafe. Love the fact that the doors to the rooms open straight out onto the road so it feels like your own studio. See you soon :)

The showers could have been a bit more private. Supermarket was right round the corner and the kitchen was good for cooking in. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they recommended a free walking tour round Berlin, which is DEFINITELY worth doing. Only big complaint would be that I found ants in my bed, luckily the room wasn't full so I just moved bed. Would consider staying there again.

They mixed up our rooms on the first night so we couldn't have the room we booked, It was sorted the next day, a bit of a pain. Apart from that it was great. very cheap, reasonably close to the U-Bahn and the staff were nice. would recomend. The room opened out right onto the street to which was great.

Newly renovated bathrooms and toilets. However shower heads leaky and broken bars.

A nice place but could have been cleaner (especially the bathrooms). The layout was really weird (rooms were not connected to the kitchen or cafe area where wifi was) and not having wifi everywhere or after certain hours was kind of annoying. It was in a good location with lots of little stores around and having a kitchen was nice but food is not well labeled so watch out for that, all of ours got eaten. Overall, a nice place but not my favorite hostel.

The staff worked very hard to accommodate us during a very busy week and weekend in Berlin. The location was excellent, everything clean, staff helpful, etc. The only recommendation is that they beef up the WiFi reception in the rooms. Works great in the cafe/lobby but did not work in our room as stated.

Pros: We reached very late and the staff was very helpful to help us in this case. Cons: We booked a room with PRIVATE bathroom. But they kept us in a WG 200m from the main hotel. The apartment was smelly and we had to share the bathroom with the other people. The room was not cleaned at all during my entire stay (3 nights). Tram was passing just beside our window which ruined our sleep. I have traveled all around Europe for the last 7 years but this was my worst experience. Never recommended.

Good hostel, with lovely and knowledgeable staff. Decent location, near a UBahn and SBahn (S9 from Schonefeld Airport stops here) stations. If you walk past the hostel and go 3 roads down and take a left there are a number of great little bars, restaurants, and takeaways. Rather clean. Security worried me tho. I was in a room of 8 but they put two beds on the floor because there were people in the room who weren't suppose to be there but they didn't know who... Anyone could just walk in.

Nice hostel, nice people.

Just a basic place, you get what you pay for. The price is not high, so you can´t expect anything special. Anyway, the location is great and the staff very helpful:)!

Cold and sterile looking rooms, no real vibe in the sleeping area. The cafe/bar associated with the hostel was fabulous.
