Schreber City Hostel Berlin Reviews

I stayed in a double room, which could not have been more basic. In fact the whole building layout reminded me somewhat of military barracks. But if you are looking for a clean bed for a couple of nights you will not be disappointed, and you will save money compared to most other hostels in Berlin.

A bit far from the room to the toilets.

If you are looking for a second home or a hangout spot, this is not the place for you. It is more of a place to sleep over. If on the other hand you want something near the center, this is great for you. Plus, breakfasts are really great with fresh eggs and mozzarella cheese.

Pretty nice hostel. Got a room there super cheap for New years.

Very good hostel, very good located. The breakfast was really excellent (one morning we even received bread that was still warm). The only thing I could remark is, that the rooms were so nice but though we had all we needed: bed, chair, table, cupboard, mirror. Next time again!

We had a great stay. The location, staff, cleaning and breakfast was very nice! I the only thing we missed was a kitchen to prepair food in. Thanks!

Basic and simple facilities but all fine and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful apart from the guy who was on duty on our final night there who seemed very stressed out and quite abrupt. The coffee machine didn't work but the staff made us coffee. More available savoury snacks would be good as there are no shops nearby. Excellent breakfast! There was nowhere to hand your towel by the shower.

The plus of this hostel is that it's close to the center of the city. Otherwise, I found the staff rather rude and unfriendly, and they hardly spoke English.
