My biggest complaint about the hostel is the location. It's a 30 minute walk from the train station and an even further walk from the border of central Milan. I don't mind walking a lot but it was still far. The hostel staff was friendly and run by a family. They say no smoking but the staff and guests smoked out the kitchen window. It was a little pricey for what one received but comparatively it was on the cheaper end. There are only two bathrooms, but was rarely an issue.

Staff were very informative, facilities were great (kitchen is still being improved), really nice rooms. A bit far to walk city centre but really close to metro. Not enough powerpoints in the dorm room, and security of bags isn't great. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and would stay again

theres a city tax of 2 euros plus 1.5 for bed linen, which is odd.wifi works good, kitchen and 2 bathrooms.lication is ok,not far from train station and 5 minutes from rovereto metro stations.bunkbeds are a bit shaky and staff make a lot of noise, even at night.but overall is ok,far better than other hostels in area

Altough the location is not the best, the price is very good for Milan. There are very few bathrooms for the amount of people... Consider that you have to pay 1,5 euro for sheets, 1 euro for the locker and 2 euro for tourist tax in addition. Also can´t stay in the hostel after check out. you can leave your stuff there but not i n a secure place.Staff okay. Don´t understand why they smoke in the common area while they warn the guests that they have to pay a fee if they would do it !?!

I have to say this hostel is not as bad as the reviews online. The owner and her daughter were very friendly and helpful. They might not have a big smile on their face but they were welling to answer the questions I had and the security is alright. No strangers will be in and out of the hostel freely but there are no locks on the room doors however, lockers are provided on the hall way. Over all it is a very good value place to stay for a short term.

Hello! This Hostel is good to spend a night or two like I did, however there is some important lacks in the service. You can't print anything there and you have to search for information by yourself. In general it's fine if you have a good spirit, not amazing, but fine. Location is fine, 15/10 min from the center/station/night'zones, staff is fine, not rude but not very helpful, rooms are fine, clean and worm but always open, kitchen is fine and usefull. Wi-fi works good in the entire hostel.

The hostel is clean and well kept. Location is accessible via the metro to main sites. However, these hardly compensate when dealing with the lady owner of the hostel She gets extremely anal about her rules and regulations e.g kicked out of hostel for cleaning at 11am, leave the establishment immediately not allowed to use the wifi to look for a new hostel etc. She runs the hostel like the military. Save yourself the hassle and pay that extra 3 euro for another spot; some friendly advice

Was perfect for one night and the receptionist was really helpful. Just be aware about the city and linen tax before booking. Not much security but the wifi was good.

A bit weird that the hostel must be left soon after the checkout (so no staying in the corridor, for example). Apart from this, an overall good experience for the money spent.

We had a lovely stay. It is a little bit far from the main atractions but it is close to the metro station. We were well welcomed by the owner and the facilities was what we expected, a warm bed and a clean bathroom. It was also possible to use the lockers and the washing machine. By the way, there were good italian restaurants in the street.

Pluses: Quite clean Minuses: No space to put your bags, just in room without any security Instead of soap in the bathroom the shampoo of previous guests The biggest concern is the reception (actually a bed with a table, remain of soviet Union dormitory reception), with a woman that behave something between your teacher in a high school and a person who make fool out of you-unpleasant answers to the questions, more like a teaching then helping. she is smoking right on the reception.

Recepcionist smokes all the time inside the hostel! All the hostel smells cigarette, include the rooms. The lockers are too small and outside the room. But the rooms are very clean, wifi works good. The location is fine, there's a metro station near.

The woman on reception was racist and she treated us very bad (maybe because we were a group of African-French artists who participated to work at an event in Milan?). Even though we had paid in advance for the stay of 4 nights would find excuses to steal an overnight stay (luckily we had the receipt). The organizer of the event wanted to call the police because in reality the person who runs the hostel is a thief. I will never stay in this hostel and I will give my ratings worst

Nice hostel, friendly staff and clean. Little out of the centre but all hostel s are in Milan. Great travel links and don't underestimate the local area!

overall the stay was fine. the shower was a let down....it was either super burn yourself hot and cold and there were only two bathrooms for the whole hostel. rooms didn't lock and locker was beside the kitchen. no 'lounge' space to be comfortable and meet people. it was fine!

There is no table in a kitchen! You have to keep plate on your knees. The taxes are not included in the price you see on the website hostelworld.com. Also you have to pay extra money for a linea. Despite this the staff is nice.
