It's close to Valentia Island and Cahirsiveen, and Bus Eireann drops you off 200 m from it. If you want to know more about the Tetrapod tracks, ask the host because he worked on it. If you just want to explore the island and the Skelligs, then you'll be annoyed with always having to pay the car ferry and will be better off at a place on Valentia Island.
