We had a very good moment at Sean's : Sean and his daughters are very nice, the food was excellent (and fresh!). Wish we had stayed longer in the guesthouse !

if you're doing the hike in two days maybe it's better staying at midway guesthouse. It was quite rough to do the 10h of hiking to get here at the end of the first day! Otherwise quite decent and comfy.

Idyllic location in the middle of the Gorge - a wonderful thing to wake up and open the curtains and see that view. Sean and his family are great, very welcoming and friendly and will do anything for you. Definitely stay here.

This is a great place to stay at the end of a long day on Tiger Leaping Gorge - but are a few niggling issues. Lily (Sean's daughter) is a great host! She asnswers questions and is welcoming and helping - unfortunately, I cannot say the same for other staff at the hostel. Food service can also be very slow - so give yourself plenty of time to go and order if you are running to a tight deadline.
