This is a chilled out hostel in a safe part of a rough city. Staff are very friendly and the balcony at the back is a great place to sink a beer and meet other backpackers. The hostel is also close to the tourist village and is in the city centre. However, the dorms are over priced and the walls between the rooms are thin.
If you have to stay in belize city this is a good option. Staff are very friendly and good location.
Great place close to the water taxi terminal. One of those unique places with a special atmosphere. Staff is personable, knowledgeable and helpful way beyond what could be reasonably expected. This place should have been on my bucket list had known about it and had I had a bucket list.
Very good. I don't recommend staying in Belize city for too long, but this is a good place to spend some time before you head off to your next destination. The neighborhood is a little rough, but the staff and cleanliness of the hostel makes up for it. For the budget backpacker it's a very decent spot that's close to the water taxis. Security is good at the hostel but I wouldn't carry too much cash if you're strolling around the area. If you do then you deserve to get rolled anyways.

Don't stay in Belize city unless you really have no other choice, there really is nothing there and I tried real hard to find the good side!! If you do need to stay though this hostel is as gd as anywhere to stay, the staff are friendly and helpful and the hostel (whilst very eclectic) is decent and great wifi. Don't expect your normal backpacking hostel though!!
