We had a double room with shared bathroom. The room was basic but good enough. We only had to share the bathroom with one other room. Not much of a hostel vibe but does have a common area with computers and a kitchen. I thought the hostel was good value, was clean and the staff were great. Easy to get to from airport and bus station using public transport even with our packs. Dont imagine you will find a better place for a double room at the same cost in old istanbul. Excellent location near the tram and the centre of Istanbul. Staff are helpful and the breakfast on the terrace is a good way to start the day. We had a great time at Second Home Hostel. It´s really close to all the important sightseeing points in Istanbul. The staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was also brilliant for a Hostel. The only things that were not so good are that there is no safe place for leaving your bags and the bathroom in the rooms is not cleaned every day. Anyway I recomend Second Home Hostel to all the people who want to be in the middle of the historical parts of the city!!!We had a great time at Second Home Hostel. It´s really close to all the important sightseeing points in Istanbul. The staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was also brilliant for a Hostel. Here's one that will particularly appeal to young people. the place is run by a group of ambitious young guys and they do a very good job. Unfortunately the sewer plumbing of the place is not good, so we had a permanent sewer scent in our room. Also the many stairs might be a problem for older people. Still, considering the price, you get a lot of value, and the famous Turkish gentle hospitality on top.Here's one that will particularly appeal to young people. the place is run by a group of ambitious young guys and they do a very good job. Está situado en el centro y puedes ir andando a todos los sitios, los staffs son muy agradables, el desayuno está muiy bien y tiene una terraza arriba preciosa.
