A very distinctive decor makes this a hostel apart, if you're into that. The house is a vintage wonder (where else have you seen brass shower drains!?) but it needs a plumber urgently. My impression is that management is relying a bit too much on their great staff to run the place, but all in all a good stay. Wifi and breakfast are more than acceptable. A long way away from the metro makes for a nice stroll along a posh part of town. Thank the twins for all the info and the ever present smile!

The Secret Buddha was absolutely beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It was quiet and peaceful. At the time that we stayed there, none of the staff on hand spoke a word of English, so there were some slight miscommunications, but both ladies were very friendly. A little far from the city for my taste, but well worth checking out if you want a bed and breakfast experience. Good internet, cable TV, nice lounge, beautiful garden/ patio and two adorable, sweet dogs all added to the stay.

Beautiful hostel, a little tough to get to by public transport, but that's part of the charm

Really amazing hostel and not toooo far away from the city. It is more a family expericence and a peacfull place. If you are looking for a party hostel, you should stay better en el poblado...

Amazing place!!!! It has a unique artist touch, it's surrounded by exuberant nature . You feel like being in the jungle but the city is just a few minutes away . Do not miss a chat with Mariano, the owner, excellent cook and full of stories from all over. I'm looking forward to go back for longer time !!!!
