The secret garden is true to it`s name. It is really, a secret garden where you can calm down and relaxe.

Lovely place to stay - the people there were so friendly and helpful... amazing to wake up in the morning, have a cup of coffee in the garden and listen to the birds. The rooms were super clean and welcoming. The location was ideal since it was off the main road, tucked away not far from some great taco shacks, bars and restaurants. I would recommend to anyone!

This was a lovely place to stay, with friendly and helpful hosts. The location was great - close to everything but back from the busy main road. Our room was spacious and it was nice to have air-con. The free tea, coffee, fruit and snacks available was great before or after a busy day. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Secret Garden to others!

What a great \"zen\" atmosphere, very calming and relaxing. Loved the jungly sounds of the birds in the trees and the garden area was so lovely. My room was nicely decorated and quiet. Loved my stay there - Thank you.

The Secret Garden hotel was perfectly located for exploring the town, being located only moments from the bottom of town meaning you could do the whole pueblo on foot. It was also only a 5 minute walk from the bus station. Joshua was very welcoming and friendly and greeted us with helpful information and a map of the local area. His tips re restaurants were spot on. It was situated off the main strip so was generally rather quiet (except for one night when the sound of some very bad karaok

The owner Joshua was briliant and super helpful. I went there with a big group of 9 people. We couldn't make the perfect 2-days plan without his help. The room is clean and cozy. I love the small garden outside of the rooms and wifi speed is pretty good. The only issue is the sound of the birds, too loud to sleep at night after 3am.

Great place to stay! 2 blocks from the main strip. Tulum is a great town with tons to see incl the myan ruins and bike rentals. Take a ride down the beach past all the resorts....incredible! Secret garden was clean, great staff and Wirral environment. Can't recommend it enough.

Lovely place, the only thing to complain about is that there were so many birds that it is likely you will be hit by their kaka, it happend to me 3 times :)

Secret Garden is just that.- a complete oasis hideaway on a quiet off-street in the center of Tulum. We loved it here! So much so, that we booked the place for our first week in Mexico, went traveling for 5 days, and then came right back to the Secret Garden for another 8 nights! The rooms are super clean and have a maid service daily, the garden is majestic and a great place to hang out and relax, there is free wifi that works perfectly and the hosts, Josh + Maura are simply put THE BEST.

We changed our original travel-plans due to the nice atmosphere and the way secret garden tulum made us feel at home. we extended our stay here 3 times! ... that should say it all. if not: extremely friendly and professional staff - giving very valuable tips and knowing their way around the whole area. major focus on cleanliness, which is not always a given in mexico (or anywhere else for that matter). beautiful garden, super cute rooms. really special place in tulum!! cheers, katrina & nicolas

ottimo hotel, nel pueblo di Tulum e non nella zona hotelera(quindi niente vista oceano). pulito e confortevole con camere spaziose e un giardino per il relax. da qui si puo raggiungere facilmente ogni luogo di interesse nei dintorni di Tulum sia in bici che con i collettivos. i ragazzi che ci lavorano, Joshua e Maura sono gentilissimi, ti aiutano per ogni cosa. consigliatissimo.

The staff was really helpful, lots of great advices! Really clean and friendly! Great location as well! The garden, chilling out area was mint too. The only small thing was the shower that didn´t meet the standard of the hotel. Joshua and italian receptionist were fantastic!

the staff are uber helpful! they provide water, coffee, tea, and fruit for the morning.
