Great hostel, if your looking for somewhere to stay during full moon but want a relaxing place out of town this is the place to stay. Great views of the jungle and koh samui from our bungalows on the hill, basic but comfortable. The owner is lovely and will help organise anything you need, taxi's or ferry times and terminals etc. Town is about a ten minute walk but would be very hard to get lost as just one road, tuk tuk to full moon beach about 15 minutes and reasonably cheap!

Staff are amazing people and so friendly and helpful. Its a real family run business. The atmosphere is very relaxed and was a great place to chill out for full moon. Easy to get taxis. The view is beautiful and the best view I've ever had when travelling. The stairs are a bit annoying and dangerous. Not having internet was a bit annoying. I would still recommend that people should stay there as its really nice place with really nice people. Food was really nice too.

No internet. Horrible shower, didn't drain, flowed a river through our room. View was really nice, but there was no warning about the treacherous stairs up the hill. The staff offered no help carrying our bags up/down that ridiculous staircase. Really far away from anything, taxis overcharge to take you up there, otherwise they drop you off a kilometer away. The driveway leading in from the road is dangerous, I badly hurt my knee, then got laughed at by the manager. They keep a money chained up.

We stayed a few nights in the double shared bathroom room which was good value for money but the bathrooms were horrible and didn\'t even have toilet paper. After a few days we also noticed some bites which we assume were bedbugs so we moved to hillside bungalows which were nice enough for the money too but we continued to get bites and the bed was horrible! Also everything was falling to pieces and the sink leaked. Good view of sea though and close to Bantai which is 10-15 min walk.

As you might guess from the name, the place is a group of huts hidden in the middle of a jungle vegetation. A beautiful place. This far from everything, but you can rent a scooter for 200 baht per day and go to any of the beaches in minutes.

We didn't actually here. I had booked a room which had a shared bathroom, and wasn't happy since this information was withheld from my booking. For 400 b, the room was hugely overpriced. It was literally a shack with a few divisions to make separate rooms. We got an entire house with bathroom, TV and balcony for the same price closer into the city. I feel badly writing this as the owner is very nice. I'm sure the bungalows are lovely.

Great times spent at the secret hut, good people, good vibes and good location. Koh Phangan is a great island and the secret hut was a good place to stay while enjoying it, the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. Would come back for sure. I love thailand.
