In our experience this place is perfect to enjoy either the peace and beauty of the environment, or to make a really active vacation for affordable prices.
Our Hotel is located in Obertraun which is approx. 2.4km from Hallstatt
You decide whether you:
- Enjoy a relaxing day beside our heated pool in the picturesque garden
Or:
- in the summer go hiking, bicycling, rock climbing, white water rafting, paragliding boating and kayaking, or scuba diving. In winter you can build a snowman, go sledding, ice skating, cross country skiing, snowboot hiking or conquer the gigantic Free Ride Arena of the Krippenstein!
All rooms in our hotel are equipped with:
* En-suite shower room with toilet
* Room Balcony with Hallstatt Lake view (most of the rooms)
* TV
Our hotel offers parking area free of charge.
Hotel Restaurant serves different kinds of traditional meals. In the morning hours we serve traditional Austrian breakfast buffet. There is possibility to order Half board or Full board menus also.

This is not really an hostel but a guest house/bed&breakfast, better for romantic getaways or family vacations. They serve a nice breakfast buffet. Take notice that this is not located in Hallstatt but in Obertraun, which is 3 km away on the same side of the lake (you can catch a bus every hour for 1,90€ but the last one returns at 7 p.m.). There is a nice restaurant nearby. The facilities were good (as you would expect from a bed&breaksfast) but the receptionist was not very friendly.
