This is not really an hostel but a guest house/bed&breakfast, better for romantic getaways or family vacations. They serve a nice breakfast buffet. Take notice that this is not located in Hallstatt but in Obertraun, which is 3 km away on the same side of the lake (you can catch a bus every hour for 1,90€ but the last one returns at 7 p.m.). There is a nice restaurant nearby. The facilities were good (as you would expect from a bed&breaksfast) but the receptionist was not very friendly.
