This is a pretty average/basic hostel but it is adequate for those of us on a tight budget. The rooms are basic but clean and the showers are hot. There is a kitchen to cook some basic meals. It is a bit further from the centre of town than I'd like but it is only 5 minutes walk from the metro which will take you into town in about 10 minutes. There are lockers but I thought they were a bit insecure. The staff are helpful and cooked a communal dinner for the guests one night which was very kind!
Definitely one of my alltime favourite hostels - not just for the nice & clean rooms, the good breakfast etc. but mainly for the staff who always made you feel like old friends. So: Saludos y abrazo a Nicole y Rodrigo!!
Great hostel! Very friendly staff that make you feel at home. The whole place made me think it was more like "professional couchsurfing" than staying in a hostel. Highly recommended! Bring a warm jumper in winter; as everywhere in Santiago it tends to be freezing inside.
Great people, great vibe, great location. Central to everything and right by the metro

The staff at the hostel were very nice. However it was very cold, because there was no heating in the dorms. You had to ask to turn on the hot water for a shower, that's OK - but even then the water was not very hot so I didn't even bother on the last day & just went to another place. The water in the kitchen was very hot but for some reason the water in the shower never got very hot. Apart from this for the price it was good value.
Very friendly, very helpful, excellent hostel, hot showers - Thanks!
Really nice hostel, the owners where really nice, even gave me wine and things! Santiago was in low season when I visited, so there wasn't many people staying at the hostel to hang out with
