A bit hard to find (like everything in Japan) but the best hostel i've stayed at there. Amazing staff - very good recommandation and the manager did everything he could to help me stay at the hostel one night more even if it was full. Would DEFINITELY stay there again.

Definitely, the best Hostel I've stayed in my journey through Japan. Very nice atmosphere. Mat and Nariko's hospitality and precious hints help you see some extra places omitted in local travel guides.

Our hosts Matthew and Nori work flawlessly and efficiently together in perfect English and Japanese. They are more friendly and helpful than we thought anyone could be. The directions to get there are excellent. Their suggestions were gold. The hotel is beautifully renovated and as-new with a welcoming kitchen, common room, bar and wonderful onsen in-house! Location is perfect for dogo onsen (get you yukata there for your whole stay), near a great grocery store and great restaurants.

Great for someone travelling alone, a couple, or a group. It's a tiny bit difficult to find, but close to Dogo onsen and a lovely shopping arcade. The staff are fantastic too. Thank you!

The Sen Guesthouse is a fantastic place to stay! The staff, facilities, and everythign about it are youthful and vibrant. The rooms were large and very comfortable. They have a large Japanese style bath as part fo their facility, AND they are within a stone's throw of Dogo Onsen. It is just a great little place full of style and character. GO HERE.

The staff is very friendly. They are able to speak in Japanese and English. They were very helpful and recommended places to visit in the area. I had to spend an extra night due to bad weather, but I stayed during an off season. The dorms are very clean and there are lockers in the room. They provide a key to the dorm room and to the front door. They also have bicycle parking. It was very clean. This hostel is very close to Dogo Onsen and the shops around the area. I'd definitely stay here again.

Matt and Nori are incredible hosts. I was only there for two nights and they gave me a ton of things to check out and made great suggestions. The rooms are very comfortable and the common area has a great bar for hanging out with other guests. Sen Gueshouse is very close to Dogo onsen, a great 24 hour supermarket and a perfect starting point for visiting the temple, bamboo forrest and other great sites. Can't wait to come back to Matsuyama and I'll definitely be staying here again!

Brilliant hostel owned by lovely couple who clearly love running it and the area. Gave me a brilliant route to spend a day, and really helpful in making the most of Dogo and Matsuyama. Tatami style room for 6 was massive and loads of personal room with own wardrobe; only shame was that it wasn't busier as it really deserves to be packed every night: great stay.
