Great location, nice and close to central station. Kitchen facilities are good however when we were there there were children in the hostel. Makes it hard to cook and be in the living area when there is a chilchild running around especially when you are handling hot food. oms were decently clean, but all shared facilities and some people tended to miss the bowl! Good for a place to crash, dont expect anything else

The hostel has an excellent location in the centre of the city, the staff is really friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Very good central location in Oslo. Awesome awesome showers! Not a great atmosphere for meeting people though, and no individual power points per bed. But enjoyable stay!

It's strange we couldn't take hot shower during the first night of stay, maybe it was too late (around 2am i guess?) but the second it was fine. a little smelly when u enter the corridor although we don't know where did it come from. people who stay there aren't youngsters. but extra points for the snooker and table football!

Location is GREAT, close to the train station and everything else in Downtown Oslo. Rooms are OK, no double bunks as far as I know. There is a very limited number of restrooms (2) and showers (2) on third floor, and only one or two showers more on second floor - very small number by comparison to the number of rooms and guests on each floor. I can imagine that it can be a problem when hostel is fully occupied. Very steep stairs and no elevator can be a problem for someone, too.

Comfortable bedroom and bed, facilities were pretty clean. The guy in the reception was very very helpful and friendly.

It's the cheapest hostel in Oslo, so I was prepared to get what I paid for. It's located in the red light district, so not great if you're wanting to walk around at night, but I still felt safe in the hostel. I was only stopping through for the night and it was perfect for that. You get your own bed instead of sharing a bunk which was a nice change and spacious rooms! Showers were wonderful and reception was very friendly.

The reception was supposed to open at 10 am, but the staff came in 20 minutes late. It's a small thing but shows appreciation towards the guests when things are done on time. The rooms were very basic and worn out, as were the bathrooms too. Walls were really thin so you could hear everything that the people in the next room were talking about. The hostel was good for a quick one night stay (a good location in the centre), but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay.

The kitchen was really dirty, couldn't find clean plates or basically anything. I had to clean what I needed to use.

I stayed in Oslo on Christmas Eve so nothing was open but thankfully the staff helped me find a grocery store so made up some food and hung out with some of the local travelers.

Excellent location in the city center near central station, opera house and the palace in walking distance. Staff was helpful and allowed us to hang out in the common area even after we had checked out. Room was spacious and warm with a fridge as well. Recommend highly to budget travellers.

Staff is really friendly and willing to help, working from 10am till 12am, that was a plus. Building is quite old so the ventilation system sucks (if there is any), therefore the room had this stuffy atmosphere and stench was hovering a bit, that was a minus. Nevertheless, very well located for an accessible price, they offer you towels, linens and lockers for free... I was not expecting that in Norway.

Awesome location, about a 10 min. walk from the central train station. The guy at reception was very helpful. Had a good nights sleep. Can't fault the place.

The Hostel is saturated with (for lack of a better word) “homeless” people who destroy the atmosphere and make it difficult for the guests to enjoy themselves. The price is a bit steep, but that was to be expected of the world’s most expensive capital The best thing I can possibly say about this Hostel is that the duty manager ("Matias I believe his name was) was one of the best managers I have ever had the delight of coming into contact with. Really friendly and helpful.

Definitely not a youth hostel, don't go here for the atmosphere. I was only passing through so the hostel was good for that, but would not recommend a long stay. Lots of strange people hanging around at all hours. Man at reception was really nice and let me check in really late. Far too few bathrooms and toilets for the size of the hostel, only one per floor that i could see. Was expensive for what you get, but Oslo in general is expensive.
