Above average hostel. Comfy. Clean. The man who owns place (I suppose) is a bit excentric but ok.

Great bread pudding. More French employees than actual people staying at the hostel which I believe takes away from the atmostphere, especially when they just sit around all day. Otherwise, the owners were very nice and late check-in wasn't a problem. Wifi doesn't work in the rooms.

Excellent hostel. Very safe friendly atmosphere. Has a homey feel to it. The staff are excellent. The facilities (hot tub, kitchen, games, book swap etc) are excellent. Bit of a walk into Picton foreshore but worth it. I had an excellent stay. The best hostel I've ever stayed it!

Amazing hostel. It really feels like home. The staff was super friendly and the kitchen was so clean. It's nice that they provide cooking oil, tea & coffee and basic spices! The dorm was fine and clean. Location is good; easy to walk to the city centre and very calm. Wifi is only available in the common areas. Nice and cozy atmosphere. I stayed 3 nights and everything was great. I would surely recommend this hostel. :)

Friendly lady on reception. Nice touch by making chocolate pudding for everyone :-) Nice chilled out atmosphere. WIFI only available around reception but plenty of seating to use it though

Everything was OK, but the hostel has some odd rules re checkout (at 10am meaning you were not allowed to remain on the premises a minute after). We had packed our bags and left them in the corner of the lounge room to get a late breakfast to come back to the hostel to chat to another couple about potentially buying their car. The lady was unbelievably rude and kicked us out making us and surrounding guests feel uncomfortable which seemed out of character as previously she was accomodating.
