Maybe it’s because I stayed here during the off season, but the atmosphere was very sleepy and a little bit eerie. As a solo female traveler I felt a bit unsafe as there was no lock on the female dorm room and there were a handful of older gentleman staying at the facility. The front desk staff offered to give me a ride to the ferry the next morning but then forgot and was gone on a fishing trip. Thankfully a kind lady offered me a ride instead.

There wasn’t any parking on site, luckily there was street parking 5 minute walk away. But it shouldn’t have been advertised as parking on site. The WiFi password we were given on arrival was different to the one in reception. The bathroom was not clean (we were the first to arrive in the dorm).

A great affordable place to stay after arriving late from the ferry. We had the double room with en-suite. The room was big and had everything we might need. Check in instructions were clear and easy to follow.
