basicly, it's a good backpacker hostel. Serenity is located at the most strategic part of KL. If you dont mind, I would like to compare it to other hostels I ever stayed before. Nowadays, most of backpackers tent to be flashfackers, they always need connection to the internet. Some of them bring their own notebook/tablet computer/other devices, but some do not. So, it will be a better facility if Serenity provide some notebook in the waiting room connected to internet. That's all. Thank you.

Owner Comment (Show)
Thanks a lot for your valuable comment. We respect the feedback of our guests and continuously change and renew to make Serenity Hostels even better. However, it appears that you might have missed to see that we do have a laptop for guests connected with the internet. It is placed on computer shelf near the windows in common room/ reception area. We again thank you for taking time to submit your comments and feedback. Cheers!

The staff are very nice and polite, the room is quite comfortable as long as the AC is on....not because of the owner but due to other traveler prefer a cooking room so they can have sauna inside..:( Also, the hostel should have locker for storage, either paid or free, no matter how good the security is

Nice, cosy and clean place with superfriendly staff. I just loved the athmosphere! Location is excellent, Bukit Bintang is right there and Chinatown in a comfortable walking distance. There are lots of clubs and restaurants on the same street with the hostel, so some could be disturbed by the noise, but I myself wasn't. This place is very new and slightly unfinished, but they are learning all the time and the place is DEFINITELY worth the money! :)

The Hostel was well located, just a short walk from the main shopping area in KL but it was on a strip of bars which became lively at nght until quite late - if you are not in a room at the front this may not bother you. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful wanting to aid in making my stay better.
