A bit surprised when I had to pay cash when it was shown on the booking confirmation. But of course, this is a small issue.

This was really just a group of about 5 rooms which meant that it was hard to get into contact with staff to ask for directions / advice. However it was very clean, the bathroom was lovely and it was close to termini station.

Sergio Hostel is a perfect place to stay for a longer time in Rome. It's close to all main spots in the city and it's just few steps from the railway station Termini and metro station.

It was a really nice hotel. Me and my friends have a good experience there. Is not like many other hostels but if you want to find a good, clean and private place to stay this is your best option.

It is quite hard to find as the hotel consists of a few rooms in a set of apartments. Breakfast is set out in an apartment kitchen where there is only enough space for a couple of people at a time. However the apartments are set out around a lovely courtyard, the staff were friendly and readily available and it felt very safe. Being close to Termini was also very useful.

When arriving we could not check in at Sergio`s Guest house but were brought to a place nearby. It was a five minute walk away from the place we wanted to stay but the place was alright. We did not expect a lot. The room was equiped with a double bed, one chair, sideboards and one closet. An private bathroom including shower, toilet and basin was directly integrated in the room. We liked the breakfast vouchers where we got nice cappucino and a sweet cornetto at the coffeebar next door.

Accommodation in Rome is extremely expensive. We were there over new year and it was the cheapest, decent accommodation we could find. It is okay for this purpose. The 'double' bed was two squeaky singles pushed together... hilarious. It has a fridge, but no stove. Termini station is not a nice part of Rome - but it is a short walk to some attractions. Don't get scammed at Termini station! It is worth noting that it has WIFI, though it is not listed on the facilities.

I was travelling with my boyfriend and we chose this place because after a few days in a hostel, we really wanted more confort in a double bed but, althout it looked like double, it was actually two single beds put together, witch split during the night... The heater wasn´t that good also.
