dirty old and totally unorganized hostel. IT'S MORE A HOUSE WITHout a owner than a hostel. the owner is really nice, but he's not always there. so there is not front office always working. not any activity organized. 2 bathrooms really dirty ( i dont even know how they got the license!). i had to stay 4 nights but i left after 2. stinky place. breakfast is some old and hard bread with something to put on. it's seems to me that they just don't care, i wont reccomand this hostel.

Love this neighbourhood. Owner is a very nice guy and always willing to help you. Not a typically ran hostel, sometimes there is no workers there. Could use some better organisation in that regard. Hostel itself needs some attention, could be a 90%+ hostel if some investment went into the facilities - so much potential there. Locks to the rooms need to be fixed up, they're very fiddly. Breakfast is very average, but that's typical for Argentina. I would stay here again.
The owner of this hostel is absolutely lovely and the kitchen seems well equipped and there is a communal TV. However, you can pay the same price at other hostels in Palermo and get more for your money.
You get what you pay for, if you want the Ritz-Carlton pay the Ritz-Carlton prices. Incredible value for money in great location and Emanuel is a great host. I had a private bathroom for the price of a shared so can't complain. If you are on a tight budget it is excellent, very homely feel not a party hostel.
The hostel is located in a very good place with easy access. Emanuel is the guy responsible for the hostel and he knows very well Buenos Aires, he gave us very good recomendations, was very helpful and has a very good sense of humor.
A great experience overall. I stayed at Serrano 1111 while looking for an apartment after moving to BA, and was more than satisfied. It's clean, comfortable and extremely chill. Emanuel was the most helpful hostel owner I've ever encountered (out of many). After learning I was moving to BA he was on his laptop immediately helping me look for apartments, and gave me TONS of advice about where/where not to go, where to exchange money, etc. He is a 100% genuine , which is important in this town!

Great neighborhood and the owner Emmanuel was very friendly. Most of the guests were native Spanish speakers which can be good or bad depending on what you are looking at. The rooms were pretty cold at night though, Emmanuel does give us extra blankets but the entire hostel is pretty chilly during the winter.
