This hostel was more like a dorm-style hotel than it is a hostel. I stayed in the 12 person room, but only had 2 other roommates at a time due to off-season travel, but it seemed roomy. Beds are firm and don't squeak, lockers are provided (need own lock), and hostel is clean. No room #s, just room names. Breakfast is tastier than most other places (croissants!), but another hosteller mentioned the lack of coffee. Location is not in the center of Sorrento, but walkable. Excellent terrace views!

This was one of my best hostel experiences ever. I wish just that they work more on their breakfast. Nevertheless, it definitely worth the money.

If you're willing to splurge and get a nice hostel, this is the one for you. Think club lounge sofas in the common areas, hand made espresso in the morning. Granted it wasn't busy season, but the heater was on, showers were hot, and the entire place looks new. Not to mention a fantastic view from the roof!

Overall my stay was fine. The staff need to be updated with travel info & most importantly whats open & closed at holiday & off peak periods. There needs to be a noticeboard posting this info as a few people headed out for a nice meal xmas eve &everything was closed with nil transport options to sorrento as everything had closed for xmas. We ate chocolate & cheese crisps as this is all we had. Its 20 minute walk from sorrento so staying at Sorrento is a better option. No communal kitchen there.

This hostel was AMAZING! The best fit-out I've ever seen in a hostel. Very new, spacious, clean. Huge lockers. Incredible double rooftop with nice views. Unfortunately, I arrived at the very end of the season (before they closed) so there weren't many people staying there. Although, having said that, the staff were super friendly and helpful and were able to give me tips of things to do in the area. They even cooked me dinner! Highly recommended!

The hostel isn´t in the center of sorrento, but it´s really close to the train station (one stop away from sorrento) in a quiet/safe neighborhood. It has a great modern bar in the 1st floor, they had live music when I was there (and this was during low season). Great strong showers, sturdy & comfy bunk beds, huge lockers in the room, individual bed lights AND plugs to charge your stuff, elevator, great restaurant with 20% off for people staying at the hostel, good free basic breakfast. PERFECT!

This is more like a hotel then a hostel. Bar downstairs doesnt open until 7. Has cheap food though and you can buy wine buy the bottle. Try the brownies!!! Rooms a good size with lockers and clean linen. good beds. Showers are a bit awkward - see though screens with no where to hang your things and bad drainage. nice rooftop view. everything was very clean. Breakfast was good. Miguel on reception was really helpful. Close to supermarket. would stay again. Was hard to find from the port.

Its located near the station which is one station before the Sorrento station. So, it's a bit far from the center of Sorrento. When I went there, there was a strike for the Campania, so i used to walk to the center which last 30 minutes. One of the greatest thing of Seven hostel was they give new sheet for the bed and pillow cover. Also, there is a pub on the ground floor of hostel, so if there is a soccer match - especially of Napoli - it was really fun.

Best hostel I've stayed in, more like a hotel. Huge, very clean rooms, very helpful staff. Beautiful rooftop access with it's own bar and seating area where you look out over the bay. Downstairs has a beautiful full bar and restaurant. Despite not necessarily being in the center of Sorrento it's 1min by train or about 10mins walking - completely worth it. Amazing, would recommend to anyone.

Seven Hostel was fun, I met alot of nice people and the 6 bedrooms dorm room was lovely and spacious. The bathrooms in the rooms need to be redone, especially the showers, maybe have a detachable shower hose and better lighting. Also, water got everywhere. There needs to be better lighting in the shared bathrooms too. For security, anyone can get in, are the doors locked at a certain time? I liked the free internet room and the lounge. Overall, great stay and I would stay again.

A lovely experience. The conversion from a monastery to a hostel was very well done. The distance from the train station was quite long and information re the local bus could have been given by reception. We found out from another traveller.

Location is good, showers fantastic. Music plays late into the night though when they have functions- with no concern to the paying guests. Guests are also kicked out from the bar when there are functions but the roof makes a nicer place to sit anyways... Would like access to a kettle or kitchen though

I picked this hostel because of it's rating. The place was clean and modern but the night club downstairs had music going way to loud and way too late. The hostel customers were kicked out the restaurant, out of the bar and off the roof for local parties. My lack of sleep from the noise put a damper on my stay with no concern or compensation from the hostel and the staff was rude, every last one of them. I would not recommend this place to any one.

It looks amazing - one of those hostels where they've thought of everything to make the guest comfortable. But it's soooo noisy!! They had a party in the bar and the music was making the room shake until about 2am. I was expecting a relaxing stay as an alternative to Naples but that's certainly not what I got! Half the staff were lovely, the others incredible rude! The location isn't great either - it's 40 min from Sorrento. I'd recommend a hotel in the centre of town - there's plenty of them.

Everything was great, except the smell of air freshener in the rooms (and throughout the hostel) made sleeping difficult.

This is an amazing place to stay! It is fun, hosts a younger crowd, and is very clean and helpful with information about the area. The only downside is that it is not actually IN Sorrento - it is in Sant'Angello, a 2minute train ride from the town. Just keep that in mind! We also had a situation requiring a midnight trip to the hospital one night, and the manager of the hostel (thank you!!) not only drove us there but stayed a bit to help translate, and THEN came to pick us up. Highly recommend!

Hostel 7 was more like a hotel! We had our own private triple room with a double bed and 2 singles and an ensuite, which was very clean and comfortable, no general hostel-like qualities in the room (no pushing a button for hot water), beautiful outdoor area with comfy seating and tables, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money! Only downfall was the location; a bit out of the way but a lovely walk to the town and easy train ride.
