quite good hostel

Great little hostel with very friendly staff. The key to this place is both it's location (Sant Angelo, not Sorrento - which is better!!) and it's roof top terrace where I watched storms passing and the sun setting with a cold beer looking over the ocean and lightening crack over Vesuvius. Gorgeous town and beach and area. This is a hostel, not a hostel that could pass for a hotel, therefore there was a slight party atmosphere, but it is big enough to either join in or go and do your own thing.

Nice and clean. More like a hotel vibe than hostel.. Still met some nice people. Air con was amazing!! Wifi a little slow

Nice hostel but located very far from Sorrento town. Not recommended for solo travellers

This place is fancy! Maybe a bit too fancy. It's definitely a luxurious hostel but it lacks on the social aspect. The rooftop patio has a stunning view but it's so large that it doesn't encourage socializing. Cleanliness is also an issue in the men's restroom. Mold is growing in the showers and there's no ventilation so it gets really hot and steamy.

Good hostel, very big so lots of people to meet. One train station away from Sorrento which is sometime a bit annoying waiting for the train to and from. Great atmosphere though, I would stay here again.

Great hostel with stunning views. Rooms spacious with a/con. Nice b/rooms. Free breakfast provided was substantial enough! Rooftop terrace is definitely the highlight of this place, pretty stunning views. Overall great stay. Short walk to the main street.

This hostel is like a hotel! Very clean, good wifi and a massive rooftop to watch the sunset. Free breakfast included. Location outside Sorrento is nice, away from tourists and traffic. Not a party atmosphere but a very relaxing stay!

Had a fab stay!! Just outside of Sorrento (about a 45 minute walk) in a really nice spot. Close to the train station and buses run in the area. Gorgeous rooftop terrace - perfect for sunset cocktails and chilling in the sun. Ate here a few nights and the food was absolutely delicious! Homemade and genuinely one of our favourite meals. Cocktails also delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, spacious rooms, plenty of showers which were clean if not a little small. Great communal areas!

We had reserved four beds together and two beds together, but when we got there we were told that we would be staying in four separate rooms, which meant that two people were staying in a dorm by themselves. I've never had this happen to me at a hostel--it should be if you book it together then you should be staying together, but at Seven Hostel keep in mind that they might split you up. The facilities were nice, and for the most part the staff was helpful. The food there was good.

Overall was a good hostel experience. Had good communal areas and a nice sitting area on the roof, can walk to the Main Street for food and transport. Aircon in rooms was very good! Would be good if there was a kitchen, bathrooms were pretty messy and wifi connected only in specific areas.

The hostel is great and the staff are very nice. The rooftop terrace has an amazing view!! The location isn't the best, as it is a 20 minute walk into Sorrento. Alternatively you can take the train for about €1.30, and it takes no time at all. I would definitely stay here again.

Great common areas/breakfast areas in which to relax. Bathrooms started the day out as clean. Rooms were nice and spacious. Location was good - reasonably near the sant'agnello train station. One criticism is that to do laundry was rather expensive (5 euro to clean and 5 to dry).

It really depends on who you are sharing room with.

This was a good hostel. Big - spacious - and has a rooftop. Cheap for sorrento I think. Rooms had timed aircon - but when it goes off you just turn it back on again. Breakfast was good. Usual stuff but the fresh croissants and juices and coffee were very welcome! A bit of a walk to town but it is a fine walk. It's good for you! There was a bit of atmosphere here, even though we didn't mingle there were lots of people socializing. Would definitely stay again!!

This hostel is amazing! We stayed here for four nights, and could not get over the luxurious comfort provided by the place. The rooms are lovely with great air con, bathrooms and showers state of the art, and lots of lovely places to chill. The rooftop terrace is fab, and gives you the best view of the entire Napoli region, especially at sunset. One downside- no kitchen or fridge. Though a little away from sorrento, it is possible to walk (45 mins), or the train takes 2mins and costs only 1.20

Had an awesome time here!! Great place to meet people, awesome common areas including rooftop area where we were meeting people every night. Rooms/bathrooms clean and comfortable. Short walk into town. Breakfast wasn't amazing but hey it's included and edible. I'd definitely stay here again!

Probably our favorite hostel so far!! its not in actual sorrento- rather the town beside it- only a 30 or so minute walk or a short bus trip in- which actually made it nicer as it was much quieter and had local accessible beaches. the atmosphere was great- amazing for meeting people as people gathered on terrace for drinks at night- and the rooms were so lovely, cool and clean!! decor was so chic and modern and we heard bfast was good(although we slept through everyday) would defo recommend!

The hostel is nice and the free breakfast is good, but there's nothing else extra special about it. It's expensive for how far out of sorrento it is but the buses and trains are only a 10 minute walk away.
