This hostel excelled at everything, except for one thing - internet access. The WiFi was terrible, and the staff's efforts to fix it was just as bad. Bad WiFi is expected at a hostel, but next to no wifi over the course of nearly a week is troublesome. Overall, everything else was excellent. The location and the building are superb. It has an extensive rooftop patio with mini bar overlooking Sorrento. I would imagine that this hostel is amazing during the hot summer months.
Internet was poor, and when I was there in October the bar on the roof was closed, but other then those two minor things it was a great place.
One of our favourite hostels in Europe. Though the room is cleaned daily it has a lot of residual dust on the bedding and in the air. The breakfast croissants were yummy but an additional item like fresh fruit or eggs would be nice. The wifi was constantly not working but when it did work it was great. Definitely would recommend this place and stay again even though it is not Sorrento city it was super close by metro or a nice waterfront walk into Sorrento.
Amazing rooftop terrace! Shame it rained most of the time we were there! Great little hostel, a bit out of Sorrento, but the walk along the coast is nice. Had absolutely no atmosphere when we stayed but that was due to our timing (October). Would recommend overall.
Spacious dorm room, great lockers, clean, nice atmosphere, wonderful an helpful staff.
This hostel is beautiful. Lovely spacious rooms, great bathroom facilities, amazing views from the roof, delicious breakfasts and helpful staff. The laundry is expensive at 9 euro but wifi is strong and the bar downstairs is a bonus too!
Wonderful one night stay at Seven Hostel. Friendly kind staff and an amazing facility! Would go back in a heartbeat!

My boyfriend and I, stayed in a dorm setting and also in a private room. There were small problems in each room that we were willing to over see, but the supposed bed bug infestation freaked us out. We didn't find out until the final night of our stay, but the girls that we met from other dorms were getting bit up! Bed bugs is a terrible issue and I hope they fix that promptly.

Met a few cool people here. But not much life at the hostel. Maybe because it was during quiet season but there was usually no one at the bar. Not many places to drink nearby so weren't any parties. Having said that, the view from the rooftop terrace was amazing, but you have to buy drinks at the bar. Laundry was like 9 euros, so a little expensive. It was a really nice place, safe, secure, but the problem is there wasn't much of a party. If you stay here go to Capri! Most beautiful place ever!
Location was good, and this hostel was easy to find. I loved the rooftop terrace and the view it provided. The food in the restaurant wasn't anything special, but was satisfactory for the cheap price. My only complaint was the bed bugs!! I woke up each morning COVERED in bed bug bites! Everyone else in the room also had the bites....and my friend has scars on her arms because of them. When we told the staff, the only thing they offered to do about it was give us some cream to put on the bites.
The Staff is really helpful and enthusiastic. But the hostel itself is more of a hotel than a hostel - to some it might be desirable, but that's not exactly my case (though the hostel looked really nice, it was way too big for me - I just prefer small cosy hostels).
The hostel is located about an hour from Naples and the trains are not very reliable so it takes a long time to arrive. Then it's about a 1km walk to the hostel. The directions provided on the website are good. The sheets I was given had holes all through them, I asked for another set and they too had holes all through them as well. I just gave up. The staff were good. Overall, I don't think I would stay here again.
When we stayed at seven, the hostel was pretty empty. This is a large hostel so in shoulder season it lacked atmosphere. The bar area and amazing terrace were usually empty. The 8 bed dorm is big however I believe I got bed bugs. So our opinion is obviously influenced by this experience. Bathrooms were also far away. They are going for more of a hotel vibe than a hostel, with mixed results.
the best part about this hostel is that every bed has an outlet and the terrace view upstairs is UNREAL, but the wifi is only meh, but if you go into the computer room they have its a little bit better.

The rooftop area is amazing here with 360 degree views across the town. Wifi was not the worst, but definitely not the best. The place is located about 5-10 minute walk to the train station and about 20-25 minute walk to Sorrento itself. Staff were more than happy to help where they could. The food offered there is not great but you get what you pay for, there's an awesome restaurant (cheap) called Di Pappinos which was only a few minutes walk away. Would stay here again
More like a hotel. Extremely nice, and clean. A little ways outside of Sorrento, but good value for what you pay.Stayed for 3 nights, and would have stayed longer.
The hostel was excellent except for one incident where they cleaned out our beds. Thething is they assign you a bed but if they're already used, they tell you to use any. We did and they cleaned our stuff and a friend lost two camera chargers. Just be careful to use your assigned bed or tell the staff otherwise. Besides that... Great hostel.
This place is good. A 30 min walk to sorrento town. Ther showers are weird they do not have a hook or anything on the inside so you basically have to open the shower naked and get your stuff and bring it into the wet shower. Something needs to be fixed there
This is more of a hotel then hostel! If you bring food from outside the hostel you can only eat it in your room!
This is a great modern hostel with a big bar, large common courtyard and a great roof terrace. I shared a girls dorm which had loads of space, comfy beds, 3 showers, 3 toilets and 3 sinks which was amazing! The location isn't ideal, 15 min walk to the station and then you need to get the train into Sorrento although you can walk it during the day. The lack of kitchen facilities and not being allowed to consume your own alcohol anywhere were the biggest lows for me but still a nice hostel!
