Very good host and staff. In winter, it gets very cold at night, be prepared, a winter jacket won't be out of line. It's a 10+mins drive from downtown Wadi Musa. Don't forget to visit Little Petra, it's free and close. The fig jam with yougurt was excellent.
Very friendly staff, make you feel like family the entire time. Beautiful location a couple mins away from Petra, would return again for sure. Amazing value!
I liked this camp for its hospitality and adventures. Good for saving money. but it was 14 kilometers away from Big Petra, so you have to get taxi or shuttle(5 JD) to go to Petra.
Unfortunately my friend and I spent only one night at the Bedouin hostel but from the pick up till the time of departure I think I am still amazed with the whole place...accommodation, food, hospitality, cleanness perfect!

Overall the hostel was great, and had a unique and enjoyable atmosphere. Located very close to Petra, the hostel had all amenities as indicated in the writeup. The 'tents' were comfortable and cozy, and very cost efficient. The hosts were fantastic and welcomed us very late (around midnight) with a spontaneous meal and tea, which were both fantastic and much appreciated forms of hospitality. From what I observed there were no locks on the doors, so security may be a concern for some, but not me.
