My experience at Urbany was pleasant, however I feel like there are probably better hostels to stay at for the same price and in the same area, that have more character and friendlier and more knowledgeable staff. At one point they even gave me some faulty information about when a certain attracted opened/closed.In the end it was a good experience to stay at Urbany, but I would recommend looking elsewhere first if you are able to.

It was an ok stay. The only thing i like about the hostel is the shower is good, really good, and the location of the hostel is very strategic. Near to all major Seville attraction. And there´s a tour guide for the free walking tour, his name is Juan, he is an amazing tour guide! If anyone of you are in Seville, please follow his tour around the historic town and he will explain everything from A to Z in detail. His stories are really awesome and i still remember it. All in all its a nice hostel

I really liked this hostel but the kitchen was too small. I wanted to cook dinner and by the time it wasn't busy it was 10:30 and the guy was closing the kitchen. I really liked the location and the security. The common area is kind of small. The rooms were really nice and clean though. I would stay there again.

Terrible hostel overall. very bad mattress, dirty room & bathroom. Good stuff: room & lockers work with private keycards (mine was broken). Cheap price for Sevilla. Bkft included. Bad stuff: Closest parking 20€/night. impossible sleeping: no curfew + night out events organised, noise all night + parties going on. If you are looking for fun, this is the place. A great thank you to Glenford though who really made it nicer for us on 2nd night and helped out.

I did not spend a good time at this hostel because I was FREEZING during the night and didn't get any sleep. There is no one at reception from 11 pm to 7 am so I couldn't ask to turn the heating on (I didn't see any anyway) or for an extra blanket. The staff were nice though, the breakfast good, the hostel is really well located in sevilla and the overall look of the hostel really nice. I just don't recommend this hostel during the winter.

It was a good hostel location wise and the staff were very friendly. Plus if you are interested, they organise a lot of tours and night trips to flamenco shows and clubbing. The beds were pretty uncomfortable in that the mattresses sunk in. I think the bathrooms are cleaned once a day. It wasn't a problem but there was no ventilation in the bathrooms. One shower mean't an annoying wait. But mostly it was fine. Breakfast in the morning was great. And you can leave your bags after checkout.

The place is easy to find. booked this place because i found the directions to easiest to follow and was all good. they upgraded me to a better room and when there was an issue with my locker the guy at the front desk fixed it all very quickly. Gave me plenty of maps and info about the city. Saw that they had a few nights out you can partake in too. all in all a pleasant stay. Cheers

The staff was nice and the hostel was very clean. I loved that we got a locker that locks with our room key so we didn´t have to bring our own lock. The computers and kitche, however, close at 10:30 which is a little inconvenient.

We had a great stay at Urbany Hostel in Sevilla! Nice location, staff is very helpful and their english is good. They organise (free) guided tours through the city: We had a fun and interesting tour done by Jerome (?), a tall dutch guy who did a very good job showing us around. Sevilla is a fantastic city and this hostel and their staff made it even better!

Very nice hostel, rooms somewhat dark though. The best thing is Pancho Tours, who organize free walking tours and pub crawls and are really nice people. You can just sign up at the hostel reception for any of their programs, it's really nice.

It was average, met our needs but did not exceed them. The breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable, but there was a hole in the ceiling of our bathroom...but all in all it was exactly what we needed for our low-budget trip where little time was spent in the hostel.

The Sevilla Urbany Hostel is a convenient place to stay near the Plaza de la Encarnación. From here you can easily access all of the major points of interest on foot. I stayed in 6 bed private-mixed gender room and it was sufficiently comfortable and cleaned daily. The room I stayed in had electronic lockers that could be accessed by the room key. Also notable is the simple but much appreciated free breakfast. The staff is what really made UH stand out as they were friendly and helpful.

They are exremely helpful and easygoing and very down-to-earth,You can still find the chilled-out attitude and hospitality that is hard to find in other cities such as Madrid or Barcelona. The Brazilian guy in reception was so funny and cool and the Spanish lady that checked me in could not have been more helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone.

I rebooked for more days and each time I did, the fee increased by a few euros until it was twice the original booking. So I am leaving today to go down the street to a competitor offering a price the same as the original with Urbany. I explained my feelings to the desk clerk and asked for a concession but he seemed basically unsympathetic. If I were the owner, I would instruct my desk clerks to negotiate and keep the beds rented. Perhaps this is the Spanish system of commerce.
