Dead cockroaches in the bathroom, dirty rooms, bed was not even straight (my feet were 15 cm lower than my head) and was hard (felt like styrofoam).

Really strange atmosphere in this place, a bit like The Shining (except dirtier and less welcoming). Got upgraded from dorm to a private double which was reminiscent of a prison cell. On a more positive note, the location and price are brilliant!

Well I am sure you can improve your services. It doesn't cost much. Just take some interest and initiative.

A hostel might not be beautiful or helpful for travelers. This was even dirty as a junkyard. We found a pile of empty beer bottles in the toilet, under the bed was the hell's door, and i didn't even to lose my usual amount of body hair cause the blankets were fully furnished. I'm not looking for comforts, just dignity.

Save your money and spent 30 Baht more for the Newroad Guesthouse 500m away from the Shadow Inn-Horror. Mark my words!

Very cheap and good but unclean at the same time it's bearable, id stay here again. Great location right next to ferry port and china town. Very hard to find I'd invest in a map!

I'm 86% sure that Thai prisons are cleaner and nicer than this hostel. It's cheap, yes, but the money you save is not worth what you'll experience in the hostel.

im travelling and all i needed was a bed for the night. This place is cheap, has wifi throughout and the staff are very friendly. Would stay again

The good thing was the price, and maybe the location, near the train station. The bad thing was with no doubt the cleanliness: I could see the cockroach running around the dorm, the shits were not changed and clean at all, the shower was also dirty. There was not enough fans for everybody. The lockers were small. Doesn't deserve the price. There are other places a bit more expensive much cleaner.

great place to stay, great localisation and very quiet area

The owner is very nice and you are inside chinatown but dont let anything in the room let to the owner any value things !

you get what you pay for. the guy at the reception was helpful, but the building is old, stinky and dirty. the fan in the room wasn't enough and just noisy. no toilet paper in the restrooms. 3 wifi. to get only if you are really on budget and if you don't mind to live this way
