shower was extremely difficult to manage. shower curtain was putrid, other areas not the cleanest. many sharp edges, broken cabinet doors and lights; place needs a full refurbishment. front door felt flimsy and didn't close properly view was great
Dear god don't stay here. It was the filthiest place I've ever stepped foot in. Thankfully, they provide disposable slippers, cos I would not have walked barefoot in that apartment. It clearly hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time (all they did was change sheets and towels, the floor and walls and kitchen were gross, and there was the previous customers bin bags still under the sink). Also the WiFi didn't work. And reception isn't 24 hour, it was always locked. Don't bother.
This was my first stay here so was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of room and convenient location of building; walking distance to the Bund and Metro Line 10. The man at the reception was helpful and friendly but his English was limited. Be warned: the reception is on the 12th floor of the building - Room 1210. Shower was hot with good water pressure and the toilet flushed (both are deal breakers for me). Would strongly recommend this place for short to medium stays.
Greater attention needs to be paid to the little things; everything cleaned and repaired properly. A partially sealed hole in the ceiling is not encouraging. The single staff member with whom I dealt was friendly and helpful - at 0230 - and I rather enjoyed the sleeping platform. The facilities in the apartment are merely okay and the couch would not serve longer-term. It's an okay option for a few days.
